@ajdajd663 Just because he strains to hit the notes doesn't mean there is anything wrong with his voice. If he can sing that well in that key while straining a lower key and he could sound even better but this is his key and his songs suit it wudnt sound right otherwise. Props to John

@xmendozax secondhand serenade is amazing. but to say in his songs there is no correction is just ridiculous lol. his songs are pretty famous for having like a million vocal tracks layered over one another but those tracks are obviously tuned, corrected, fx'd, and edited like pretty much every other studio track out there. i wouldnt even put it past him to use a harmony engine to create some of those insanely high harmonies he has on his recordings. still an amazing artist obviously.

secondhand serenade not a band at first. john used to be alone recording his own songs in a studio he rented then glassnote records hired him and re-recorded the songs with a full band. but he wrote all the songs!! he's the best man! his guitar is awesome btw

secondhand serenade not a band at first. john used to be alone recording his own songs in a studio he rented then glassnote records hired him and re-recorded the songs with a full band. but he wrote all the songs!! he's the best man! his guitar is awesome btw
