Girls do quit well at the lighter weights where the boys don't have as much of a strength edge. Their greater flexibility, if utilized, can actually counter the strength a boy might have over them. Once they get too much past 120, they don't do as well.

The weakness of which you so glibly speak is mostly explained by girls maturing faster than boys such that pre-pubescent boys simply get beat by more mature girls. I've watched a few videos of usually dominant girls wrestling mature boys, and the dominance disappears. The best girls hold their own against these guys and maybe occasionally get by them, but it's these guys they lose to. The best girl wreslter who beats boys no matter how mature is Michaela Hutchinson of Alaska.
