My Mac milli, sweeter than a mango. One of my favorite lines of all time. Mega and the Mobb, please lace us with another new heater like this. PLEASE!!
mega & mobb had chemistry like slick rick & doug e fresh & Nas & AZ, hip hop artists of today lack the bond that these brothas had...golden era is hip hop I listen to, bun all these new school artists & they gimmick rap.
@DJRoyaltee860 Cormega is in my PERSONAL top 5, I've yet to meet anybody that can name me an Artist that has his first 2 solo albums that are better than "The Realness, and The True Meaning" !!!! Bcuz Them is MEGA Montana first two!
@WipeYourPussy you right cause my jay z selection hurt it.
So Im revising my top five 90s list cause I don't feel the same way I did a month ago. Now this is final. Many dope lyricists, but if you knock this list, you're crazy. BRACE URSELF!
@WipeYourPussy YeahI put eminem and raekwon in a toss up for the number 4 spot with biggie and big l for the toss up #5 spot. Everybody know biggie was dope, but any real hip hopper knows what makes a superior mc is the most skillful vocab, wordplay, punchlines, catch phrases, and content. Eminem gets that over l and biggie. So does raekwon, ras kass, canibus, and the new rakim-nas. Take away the hype and just compare each artist to those mc categories and its clearer who's the top mcs
@WipeYourPussy With that being said, even though eminem's wordplay and vocabulary is stronger than biggie and big l, I also know that at the time they were alive, they were stronger than em. Em has a 14 year reach so one could say its an unfair comparison. I compare the best mcs in their prime. For the record I listen to biggie and big l more in my mp3 cause I connect with their subjects more than em's craziness. But I still can't deny em's lyrics. He put words together dope
@trooper40below Dope list. I would replace Ace with Kool G RAP though. Rakim mentioned in an interview two mcs who"s skills made him sharpen his lyrical sword: Kane and Kool G.
hats off to all the trife
