i think its each to their own.. when i play sport my parents always pushed me to the limit and i got pretty far with my sport.. but in saying that my parents were normal caring/loving down to earth parents. I think it was just my fathers side of the family were really into sport as a family and were very athletic. I loved being pushed though.. but there are others that dont like being pushed to the limit.

I love rhythmic gymnastics, and this was the saddest video I've ever seen. These girls are too skinny. Gymnast should have beautiful muscles and shape not withering bones. I hope and pray that this video is very old and these children aren't still starving to be in this sport. Athletes should look healthy, strong and beautiful; these girls appear starving, malnourished and very unhealthy! So sad...

2:04-2:07 Irina Viner is very hard with her pupils. She is like the mother for all of them. She is in all parts in their competitions. In this film she says "you are fat" to Alina!! (but she is totally thin).. and at the end of the film, She is talking hard, and we can see to Alina Kabaeva, just only listening to. Rythmyc Gymnastic is so beautiful and painful, ... I would actually beleive that this is a Russian school. At lot of this footage is from an montage of russian rythmic gymnastics montage.

These are not all the same people, but indeed all (if not mostly from the same school.
