The part about marijuana is misleading. For one thing, you only mention correlations, and correlation does not equal causation. For instance, the correlation between marijuana and depression. What if people take marijuana because they're depressed, not the other way around? Marijuana causes euphoria, it makes people feel happy, so it only goes to figure that someone who is depressed would use it to self-medicate. This video, at least at the end, is not drug education, it is drug war propaganda.
well, it wasn't an absolute. doesn't say that depression is the one and only result, we didn't say that what we said is the singular undeniable truth.
we had a day to shoot it. after each scene, we give some time coming up with the next. we probably spent all of thirty minutes thinking of how the marijuana part would go.
we're high school kids doing a high school project. we did this for a class, not contreversy.
I had to take health class in high school once too, and they hate it when you don't tow the government line re: drugs. I once did a project about LSD, and the teacher kept interrupting my presentation with blatant lies. I'm only saying this because you call this film "educational," and education should be objective.
well, kids that we are, we wanted to do something interesting and somewhat subjective instead of something that's purely objective at the price of boredom. should i edit the title?
