Interesting shot. My station at Shoreham is going to be re-built this year and we're getting rid of our Tyne Class and getting a Tamar. As I'm retired and living in Spain now I'm green with envy. The Tamar looks a right beast.
i am a crew member at loughor went down to tenby for a visit to the new station and was lucky enough to go out on the new boat, what a feeling going down the slipway
padstow got the 3rd, and yes CAT straight 6. went on one friday as i work for them in poole

F.A.O. DodgeRamit02, i believe the tamar class lifeboats use twin CAT c18's which are straight 6's, they do sound delicious i have to say.
