yeah, pitches are particularly hard on the violin, no frets! i wonder how long it takes to develop that muscle memory to hit those notes consistently, in any case i think your speeding along just fine :) have you played violin before you picked it up recently?

@chansherly212 If you work at it enough you could probably develop pretty good pitch in a few months, especially if you're playing just fiddle music.

yeah, I took lessons when I was about 12, so I learned the fingerings for D major, but I stopped after two years. I only took it out once in a while since then...I think I have a few videos of it from last year.
