  • That bobcat has a dual purpose, a cat to pet, and a guard animal against intruders lol. I'm sure coming across one of those while breaking into a home is bound to make someone shit themselves.

  • This is a "pet" bobcat. It has not been domesticated. Domestication implies many generations of selective breeding to emphasize particular traits. There is a difference between a domesticated animal and a wild animal who has been raised by humans. Wild animals will always be more unpredictable then a truly domesticated animal, even if they have been raised from birth by humans. Think twice before trying to raise a large wild animal such as a wolf or bear. This bobcat is adorable though :)

  • bobcats,foxes,raccoons,squirrels...so that's why all the cats and dogs are sitting in the ASPCA

  • OH GOD, WHAT HAVE I DONE, KILLED LIKE 1 BILLION OF THEM ON RED DEAD REDEMPTION, THEN I THOUGHT, WHAT ARE BOBCATS, I LOOKED THEM UP AND THEY ARE JUST LIKE CATS :( :( :( :( :(

  • I want one

  • This is magnificant!! He is lovely!!

  • Realiy cool to see it just hanging out on the bed like " Hey what's up" hehe thanks for posting!

  • im gonna gwt a bobcat and name him Bob

  • he is a beauty!

  • (•_•)

    Looks like this Bobcat,

    ( •_•)>⌐■-■

just got a whole lot cuter

    (⌐■_■)

    YEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!

  • is it legal to have bobcats as pets?

  • @Karami

u have to get papers on them approved by the government just like other wild cats

  • @Karami depends on where you live

  • I want one how much are they and where do you find them?

  • OMG this is so cute, he acts just like my cat does. To all the people who want bobcats - it's not exactly easy to raise one, if you can't deal with a normal cat without getting scratched, don't even try to tame a bobcat. Definately worthwhile if you raise them right, though.

  • Fangs at 0:36

  • I.WANT.A.FUCKING.BOBCAT.

  • they prob spent years domesticating this cat.although taking a bobcat(or any other animal) from the wild and taming it IS possible most of the time they are raised from birth. its a beautiful thing when in the hands of those who are fluent in raising the animals they have to know that nature and humanity can co-exist in harmony. bobcats are not to be feared but they are to be respected for what they are:)

  • Oh wow, what a cutie.

  • Ummm... What are you doing with a Bob Cat?!?!

  • I WANT ONE!!!!

  • Where do you get these from? Are the adopted/rescued?

  • Where can I get one of these wondrous bobcats? I know people breed them, but who is the best?

  • Very pretty and I do love them but I would prefer to admire them at a distance while they're in their natural habitat. ^-^;

  • @Shadowassasin14 Just hating... Who doesn't dream of owning a well-tamed big cat..? I know I do.

  • @LogicalGrowth13 I'm not hating, I do admire that this person has a tamed wild animal. I just prefer to not have a wild animal in my house. To anyone who does it's their choice and I respect that.

  • Wow what a great Animal!!

  • Beautiful cat!

  • You can domesticate any animal. When you domesticate it you become it's adoptive mother and they stay in a kitten state their whole life because you never leave them to fend for themselves. Over time they evolve more friendly looking features because their wild features are no longer needed. This is entirely safe. No animal will attack it's parent unless provoked.

  • @MrBestAMVs Not entirely true... a friend of mine in Louisiana found a "kitten" which turned out to be a baby bobcat. All was fine until the cat went "in heat". Then it practically destroyed the inside of her house. Her curtains looked like rags, holes in the sheetrock, tore up sections of the carpet. Perhaps is she had it nutered it would have been different. Just saying... still use some precaution with any wild animal.

  • @askjerry That could happen to a dog or house cat. I had a cat go into heat and he ruined my couch. Of course with a bigger cat it'll do more damage but that happens when they go into heat.

  • @MrBestAMVs This is absolutely false. You can NOT domesticate ANY animal. Take the chimpanzee for instance, when they get to a certain age they are very strong & will attack their owners. I'm just giving one example but there are many. Loving & taking care of an animal in which you become he/she's mother-caretaker whom that animal lost is one thing, but expecting that animal to be different than what years of genes have made them is totally another.

  • @aKitaKaT That's false, an animal raised from birth or near birth will never attack it's motherly figure. Chimps that attack their owners are feral chimps that have been sheltered, that's wrong. What I'm talking about is an animal raised from birth or near birth, where the owner assumes the role of parent. This is why dogs and cats are stuck in a permanent puppy/kitten stage, they never mature to adulthood because they're never left alone.

  • @MrBestAMVs try domesticating a bull moose. Some animals are just naturally solitary, or will want to go and venture out on their own. You certainly cannot say that all animals can be domesticated - it varies so much between genes, hormones, and individual temperment. One animal might attack it's parent figure in a show of dominance where the other may not.

  • @aKitaKaT

You are confusing terms, domestication is possible with any animal given enough time and generations of selective breeding. You can't tame a wild animal if its nature and strength is too incompatible.

  • @omgwtfbbqstfu poo tree

  • i wish i had a pet bobcat

  • Strange. The bobcat is very beautiful, but its European cousin the lynx cannot be handled like that or kept indoors. The lynx is all WILD! That's not really a bobcat, is it?

  • Beautiful, but how did you get a Bobcat?

  • nice kitty :)

  • looks like a maine coone

  • I did a report on Bobcats in 4th Grade. They were very interesting and beautiful. I love Bobcats

  • Are there any reports of bobcats fucking up humans when they were thought to be pets?

  • Oh My....How big does he get?

  • Lovely cat.

  • Isn't this dangerous? And possibly illegal?

  • what type of bobcat is it? How old?

  • are bob cats good house pets??? someone please tell me so i will know if its safe for the kids! :D i will pay $3000 for one of these! no... i will sell my new BMW m3 E42 for this!!! XD ... no im jk... i wish i had a m3... >:( stupid dream anyways XD

  • Oh big warm soft sleeping kitty!! crab that chin!

  • pisses me off that people think they can "own" these creatures- they end up shot dead when they attack the "owners"- sad that this cat may end up dead one day

  • @MiamiIndianTribe Oh shut up! I can see bit tigers but not bob cat Gees some people!

  • @vexviper You should educate yourself then -some people

  • @MiamiIndianTribe I don't need to be brainwashed by your save the world buy Al Gores light bulb global warming bullshit!

  • @vexviper what does al gore or light bulbs have to do with not keeping wild animals as pets? Did you think before you typed?

  • isit declawed?

  • she's so sweet. my house cat is like a little tiny version of a bobcat, she's domesticated but likes to think she's a feral cat.

  • I want one of those bobcats too:)!

  • ok well thats cool are are but how did u come to have the bobcat?

do u need a permet or something to have one?

  • Gorgeous<3

  • It's a bit like "owning" a furry time bomb, though, isn't it? Don't get me wrong, I love cats, but even the ginger tom we had when I was younger could be pretty scary if he was in hunter-killer mode. I think there's a reason why humans never ended up domesticating a cat larger than a miniature spaniel - all the ones that tried never survived to breed, and the few that had already had kids probably lost them too. I REALLY hope there aren't kids in this house...

  • Maybe you should change your title to "bobcat likes being petted" because besides a very FAINT split sec purr at 0:17, I heard nothing. Nice kitty though.

  • woah, they can be domesticated???

  • wow, he is beautiful

  • i have a hp computer

  • how do you have a bobcat on your bed? is that legal? i want a serval or a caracal, but if i was walking around bolton massachusetts with one my precious cat would be shot and i would be handcuffed

  • Bobcats are like the Foxes xD You wild dog can be a tamed house pet, while your wild cat can be a tamed kitten :3

either way, id watch out on playing with fingers >.< If domesticated cats hurt when they bite, i wouldnt want to know what this one feels like...

  • Wow. Beautiful!

  • I was the 333,333 viewer o.o

  • Happy putter!!!!

  • IF ITS A PET ITS NOT A WILD ANIMAL STOP BITCHING HIPPIES

  • just to let you no that can rip u up in couple mins how did u tame that

  • Hard to imagine this thing is built to f**k s**t up. Very beautiful.

  • @Wolfenion

Uh what about it's huge teeth?

  • @Wolfenion Comment of the month. XD

  • @Wolfenion

Well it's built to f**k up squirrels, smalls birds, and the small rabbits that the rest of the rabbits pick on.

  • My bobcat is cooler than my girlfriend.

  • oh. There not evil at all

  • How on Earth do you get to keep a Bobcat? They are awesome! Would they get on with Bullmastiffs and Shepherd dogs if brought up together from a Cub/Kitten etc

    Your cat is amazing!

  • thats a badass pet

  • Morning, Bob!

  • bad ass I want one, where do you get one? I guess I could trap a bobcat kitten in the wild, I live in AZ they are wild here

  • @freestylmx311

....You're going to trap a wild bobcat and then think you can tame it?

Good luck. You'll be bitten and scratched.

  • @WolfynSeraphim

I didnt say a full grown wild bobcat, a little kitten (but it will never happen, Im just saying)

  • Awesome cat!

  • that's crazy i hope you don't have children around but if you do, i hope it mauls them to death.

  • @dgallegos4201 What the hell is wrong with you? I've been a sportsman and conservationist for most of my life, including 7 years of employment with the Dept. of Natural Resources. People are going to keep wild animals. We've done it since the dawn of man. That cat has more good nature and friendship in its genes than any human that walks the earth. For you to wish harm to a child or the cat only proves that point. You truly sicken me.

  • That's right hstambaugh! It always ticks me off when a dog or goat is killed by a mountain lion....then they run out and shoot the lion!

  • @dgallegos4201 Classy, bro.

  • Lawnmower. :D

  • Beautiful animal. I want to pet!

  • u have that shit in your house are you crazy!!!!! LOOOOOOOL, your gonna wake up one day with your d!@k missing buddy. looooool

  • What a beautiful animal!

    Just a big baby kitty...

  • beautiful animal

  • Soooo snoozy!! Ah, I love his face, like a little tiger :O)

  • Dude it's the predator

  • Whhhhhhhhhhhy is there a Bob cat on your Bed? O .o

  • Huh I thought cougars were the only big cat that can purr... learn something new everyday

  • @TheLovelyFail they are the largest cat that can purr, so you are half correct. :) I think most cats that are smaller can purr.

  • @nick17342 actually cougars can purr

  • @NiangoChan I know...I just said they are the largest cats that can purr. maybe you misread what I typed lol.

  • @nick17342 lol i thought you were talking about bobcats

  • @NiangoChan haha, yeah, I could have worded it better. but I was indeed talking about cougars :P

  • @TheLovelyFail leppards and tigers purr as well i have seen it happen with a black leppard there so fucking scary but then again it takes balls to fucking go into a panther habbitat and pet the fucking cat and heyy good story to tell in the pub

  • i didnt know big cats could purr

  • LYNX!!!

  • where can i get a bobcat ?? anyone ?

  • @247Lopez "go deep into the wilderness my son, he's waiting for you"

    LOOOOOOOOOL

  • theres a tattoo place nera vincennes indiana that kept one in the shop, it was sweet too

  • well people can get the animals im sure from a variety of places. While not normally a house pet, im sure zoo keepers, vet clinics in certain areas, etc have access to bobcats and sometimes keep them as pets/temp pets.

  • AWWWWWWW, ISSSS A PRETTY WHITTY KITTYY!

  • 0_0

  • 0:35 very looking good fangs..

  • @Kakashisd one of two reasons you don't want to get in a fight with one ;)

  • big fangs

  • Damn that cat could rip your face off if it wanted too. I'm surprised this vid doesn't have 50 billion views.

  • omg it really is a bob cat. acts just like a domesticated cat!

  • i think declawing them is a smart thing only if you know you are going to keep it until it dies...i would love one of these...i have 3 cats myself...but these are simply beautiful :)

  • Please Write Back How Do People Get These Animals Were?

  • @boxcarjakey thats what id like to know.

  • seriously, what is that noise? is there a horse in the room as well?

  • I cannot believe the argument going on from this video, really dropping F bombs and name calling names over declawing? Being declawed is the least of the worries of an animal that belongs in the wild and not in your house. While I don't agree with it, by no means would I stoop to a level of insulting someone for their choice.

  • @beckybreakdown you do realize that red neck and the n word or completely different right? One is not a compliment to some but other like being red necks. Calling someone a n****r is a racist insult in the lowest form. I get being annoyed but there is never an excuse to talk like that. It sounds ignorant.

  • While this animal is beautiful, I think it sucks to take them from their natural life and stick them in your house, yard, cage and so on. Even if you take the best care of them and give them what they need to live, your not able to give them what the Crave which is freedom. Its these animals that end up in sanctuaries because they can no longer live with humans and they cannot survive in the wild without rehabilitation. I know you think your loving, but its cruel to them.

  • WHAT A GOOD KITTY

  • but why would you even want a bobcat the turn feral around 5 years believe me we raised 2

  • Awe I didnt know you could have those as pets lol. Id love one.

  • @TheHeather26 you cant. it's not only illegal, its immoral.

  • @cleveland666 Its immoral???? lol please. People keep lots of wild animals as pets...calm down.

  • @cleveland666 you can have them as pets you just need a permit witch is easy to get for bobcats. keeping one is about as immoral as giving a house, medicine and food to a starving child. some people pick up bobcat cubs cuz when there little they look exactly like a normal kitten once there grown big enough to tell its to late and there tame so they cant be released.

  • What a big boy!

  • It LOOKS LIKE A FUCKIN DOG!!!

  • Shelters put down many cats because their owners have de-clawed them. In many cases the animal turns crazy and the owner doesn't want it anymore. Cats have claws. If you don't want claws, don't have cats.

  • LOL it was so cute!

  • I turned the volume up but all I could hear was the focusing lens.

  • i thought they where dangerous ...

  • @Gabbyandindigo Rehabilitation of injured wild animals should be left to the experts - that's what wildlife rehabilitation centers are for. A permit is required to legally keep any non-domesticated animal species on your property.

  • beautiful animal,

  • omg im gonna get one

  • Amazing. Even in a 0:52 length video about a cat, people will STILL find something to have a problem with. YouTube really is "bitch central."

  • I want one

  • he's so pretty and calm

  • been reading the comments on de-clawing and in my opinion if you de-clawed that cat you had better de-fang it too or its gonna fuck you up bad when it finds out what you done lol

and in my opinion if you dont like bits of an animal you should not get that animal. not get it and chop it to suit your needs thats just plain wrong

  • Wild animals belong in the wild, not in the home.

  • @MadJennyMorgan it could be tame

  • @cadillacowboy1 Animals that should be living in their natural, wild habitat should not be domesticated. It's cruel to remove an animal from its natural habitat. There is an overpopulation of domesticated cats & dogs in animal shelters in need of good homes - there's no need to be taking animals from the wild & trying to domesticate them.

  • @MadJennyMorgan how do you not know he rescued this thing as a kitten from dying after its mother was just killed?? or something....and dumbass if you knew anything about the wild a full sized bobcat like this from the wild would not let him come anywhere near him or it will attack. bobcats are known to be able to kill a full grown man when threatened so shut the fuck up you dont know what you are talking about

  • @MadJennyMorgan they are living beings jsut like us... dont call them wild animals

  • @cincameron Animals that live in the wild (non-domesticated animal species) are wild - thus the term "wild animals".

  • @MadJennyMorgan >:O My uncle has a cat from the wild and currently has 8 kittens and is living happily! And you say they BELONG in the harsh conditions!?

  • @Robloxmaker2313 Unfortunately, harsh conditions are their NATURAL habitat - and yes, this is where these beautiful animals belong. I trust you & your uncle have permits to keep these exotic cats legally in your homes?

  • @MadJennyMorgan Actually,its a calico,so I don't REALLY need one.But I wont start a animal farm,I'm not a bad person,only people tat want to make a quick buck do it,plus,most of my family are allergic ._.

  • Their like house pet cats.. But BIGGER and STRONGER.

  • S/He is soo pretty! I love bobcats! I wish I could domesticate one and have one but they deserve to live in the wild, but in some situations you kind of have to take them in. But I hope S/He is doing good! :)

  • Yes, bobcats can be domesticated....just like most animals. And to answer to all the nay sayers about declawing....we done it a dozen times on most of our cats. It isn't as painful as you think. They walk around the same day with the bandages on...then they bite 'em off by the next day after that...by then the healing has begun. We declaw the fronts only....save the backs for their defense against other animals outside if they go that far out. Not a single problem has occurred.

  • oh man that's cool. what does their fur feel like? I imagine a little wiry compared to housecats

  • One Tough Animal™

  • I imagine they have to be de-clawed?

  • Comment removed

  • @NASIMNASIM my aunt de-clawed her cat... shes an animal lover as well so i don't imagine it to be that bad. she treats her pets like people so don't even try to say shes cruel.

  • Comment removed

  • @NASIMNASIM

bullsh*t, you might as well claim that dental work is inhumane, sorry they use anesthesia. This concentration on declawing is total nonsense, if you think you have the right to sterilize an animal by spaying and neutering it, declawing it so it can have a comfortable life at home is nothing at all. Don't get on your high horse unless you are willing to claim that no alteration is allowable for human convenience.

  • @omgwtfbbqstfu Spaying and neutering is done to control an over population of pets....There is a rational reason for the procedure.. Declawing is done so the furniture does not get scratched. If your furniture is that important then you shouldn't have a cat. Your comparisons are flawed.

  • @NASIMNASIM but what if you want furniture ANd a cat then what?! what if BOTH cats & furniture are highly important! I don't see how this is wrong it's not like the cat has moral values it has a soul but c'mon! what it doesn't know doesn't hurt him! plus what if it's claw got stuck on something and what about us protecting ourselves so we can have a kitty! Obviously the gov. thinks its okay for some people or it wouldn't ever give permits to have one! Plus maybe by day they work at a rescue
