a muslim's iman (faith) isn't defined by what they wear. and you're not here to judge, only God is. while we are trying to promote that people should seek to be better muslims we cannot force women to wear hijab..or make them feel bad about it. it's their choice, not ours.
A Muslim's iman is not COMPLETELY defined by what they wear for clothing but it is a big part of a Muslim's appearance. A Muslim is forever representing Islam and how better to represent Islam than by practicing its laws correctly.
No, we cannot force women to observe hijab, which of course includes dressing modestly throughout, but I think that lack of proper knowledge of the deen prevents us from practicing our religion correctly.
May Allah guide and protect us from Shaytaan and our nafs.
okay, maybe it is. what are we accomplishing by attacking girls for putting up a video with them expose the way they are everyday? they know there are certain expectations Islam puts on them but they choose to be the way they are. who are we to judge what they do?
I don't believe we have the right to pass judgement on any person, I don't believe I said that either. I was only replying to your comment that one's iman has nothing to do with outer appearance. But obviously it does since if you believe something in your heart it will show on the outside as well.
Wallahu A'lam.
It was not my intention to "attack" girls. To each his own.
no one is the true judge of a better muslims than God himself.. just because you wear a hijab doesn't necessarily make you a better muslim compared to those who do not.
sorry for sounding so judgemental, may allah forgive me and i am sorry for being rude i guess i was in a bad mood and should have thought of what i was going to say before i said it......
Hijab does make you a better Muslim, because you are following the order of Allah.
Yes this does not mean a sister with Hijab is necessarily better than one without, but sisters without hijab should make an effort and intention to wear it, and inshaAllah, Allah will make it easy for them.
