You know, watching this, I initially just laughed it off as propaganda, but as it went on, I found it quite tragic. These people (especially at the time this was made) truly have nothing. They've endured this awful life for so long, the only thing that they can look up to *IS* "The Great General". Yet, it seems as though there actually is a (veiled) message about repression.

I think Lisa Ling said it best: "In North Korea, there is no difference between fear and admiration for their leader(s)."
