I still think that there is only one good cover of this song, and it's the one made by Tearwave. They make their own thing of it, without actually changing the song. And the singer is probably the only female singer who sang this successfully.

The first time I saw the milky way was on my grandpa's farm. My cousin and I were sitting outside in the dark listening to the coyotes howling. We laid down to look at the stars and it was amazing and extravagant! The colors were beautiful! It literally lit up the whole sky along with the large bright stars.

@freaaa1 Sure, from our perspective on Earth. Since the name originally comes from the milky band that runs across the night sky (as seen in the video), you can be under the Milky Way, just like you can be under the stars. Technically you aren't under the stars either, but you have to look up, so.... The milky band is created by our edge-on view of the rest of the galaxy. We are in the galaxy, but not in the part creating the band.

well, not exactly sure where to go if you want to see it like the video. but, if you go up into the mountains, you can definitely get a better sight of the stars. Go closer to the poles to see auroras like that I guess?

It's not the pollution that prevents you from seeing the milky way that clearly. It's all the lights and outside of those it's the atmosphere. The poles are just about the only place where the atmosphere is thin enough to see it like that

I've been to the racetrack in Death Valley California before and you can see the Milky Way perfectly, some planets, Nebulas and even the Andromeda Galaxy can be seen with the naked eye from there. It's all the light pollution that keeps everybody from seeing the Milky Way.

Oh, my God. The milky way in the Southern Sky. One of my very favorite parts of being in Australia is going out in West Australia and laying under the canopy of stars. The Milky Way is so... there aren't words. I imagine Sia knows, being Aussie. I love it.
