so if you don't cut the yarn, how do you integrate the royal blue yarn the 2nd time?

@lillolly725 the middle is done seperate......then you add the royal blue on again and dont cut just keep going around alternating colors does that make sense..... Chanel @ mikeys helpdesk.... :)

Hi, i love your video and i am going to try making the blanket today..Have bought around 9 colors to make a multicolor blanket ,but i'm not sure how to cut the hanging treads or do i have to tie it ...if i cut it would the whole thing come off...please advice...

I have watched other "granny square" videos on YT and have been very frustrated!!! These videos are the only ones I've been able to comprehensively follow along with and I have 3 granny squares in front of me! You have no idea how excited I am! I have a baby on the way in July and God willing- this blanket will be done by then! HAHAHA! Thank You!!!!!

Hi Mikey- Thanks so much for posting this.  I have about a dozen squares all with long tails because I don't know how to knot them off :-(. Is it as simple as just tying a knot? If you can't tell, I've never crochet before and my friends are impressed/surprised I learned through You Tube-thanks to you.

you need to slow down if your trying to teach someone how to do the square. When your at your normal speed you tend to come off the camera

Wonderful! I haven't been able to make my video on finishing a granny square...yet! I will send my viewers to you until I can get mine made! My only real difference is how many I chain between squares. Like I said in my videos, there is no right or wrong way, just what works for you!!
