if i try to interpret this to the best of my ability, they are trying to describe dreams and how they can range from nightmares to a reality, as when stating "Dreams are made winding through my head" and "all the life running through her hair" to state that before you know it you will awaken from that place of reality, of fear. in simple defining what dreams are.
