now all you need is the train going through your back yard there and you will have it all. and when i say train, i mean the real deal, sd40's and all. not an ho scale model. now that my friend would be the coolest. by the way are you located somewhere in the chicago land area?
Many crossing gates re-activate the bell when rising. I have a blind friend who finds this helpful at a local crossing when there is audible train activity nearby which doesn't involve crossing the intersection.
I like the setup you have there. Those masts, and bells that you have painted, looks better than some of the ones we have here in Pensacola. If it's possible, can you set them up where the electronic bell shuts off when the gate is down, but the mechanical bells remain on, if you have them on the same control? However you do this,we are looking forward to seeing them in action. Thank You.
Thanks. I'm excited too! I can't wait until I get a relay case, and then I'll be able to bring my relays into play. It'll get interesting then. Also, the bells can be configured any way, so that shouldn't be a problem. :)
