gee that cant be good for the gba when hear the snap sound. shouldnt do it... this is not a glitch though. its because it cant properly read the game so its not allowed to say the nintendo on it. this is not a glitch. you shouldnt even try because it could damage it...
This is because the GBA detects a GameBoy Color game with a small switch in the cartrige slot. If you notice, old GameBoy and GameBoy Color games have square corners where GBA games have notches in them. (on the non-label borrom side of the cartridge) If you manage to stick a cartridge in backwards, you're just pushing the little switch down.
the GBA cartriges have extra room on the top, so it blocks it self from going in all the way to press that switch, however, the GB and GBC cartriges don't have that, so it goes in all the way, so it presses the switch so it would identify it as a GB/GBC.
