  • makes me think of someone recovering from something bad like drug addiction ,alcohol , asurgery or surivior of rape or car crash etc,

  • We need to forget...we All need to do so... and start fresh as a new generation. When we remember that we All are GOD's cration and we ALL have the same hope...Let's raise a new generation with new thoughts and new vision.... a new color generation..without differences, without prejudgments, let's raise a new generation of human beings, it's all in our hands...the future is in our hands now...our children...

  • LOVED THIS MOVIE<3

  • absolutely fabulous movie!

  • Great song. I am also pleased that this song got nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Original Song. Therefore, I have this song as one of my 2 song picks to win that award (My other pick is "Hello Hello" from Gnomeo and Juliet because that is also a great song as well). So, I will be extremely impressed if either this song or "Hello Hello" wins the award. Anyways, thank you for posting this because I wanted to hear this song.

  • I love the music and most of all the movie. It shows how the struggle of the Black American went through to get there freedom and right to do anything they want to do!!!

  • This song is so beautiful, so motivational, so inspiring. It fits so well for this movie. The movie is perfect. One of the best movies in the world. For all those skin-heads, racists, you should watch this movie, so all your unnecessary hate would burn!

  • Very good movie, just showing how it was in those times. I just can't understand how a group of people can say that hate another group and treat them so evil and trust them with something as precious as their children. Another thing is the wet maids. White women used Black women as wet maids and Black women were thought of as being filthy and nasty. Goes to show you that when it came to caring for their children White women lacked the talent.

  • I remember these days. My family had some friends who lived in Jackson, Mississippi. We went to visit them during the summer of 1961. They took us by the "colored" part of town and past a swimming pool that was for "coloreds" only. I was 11 years old...it made quite an impression on me. Very sad time. I still can't believe that we treated and continue to treat human beings as second or third or fourth class citizens. We all deserve the same rights guaranteed by our Constitution. We ARE all human

  • @mjust65492 I thank God we Chinese was never treated on a large scale of racism. We just got restricted from Free of speech, Free of rights and got repress from our own government. We lack something call Freedom. Maybe it's time for us Chinese to live a free live as well.

  • @joyzer256001 Did anybody say that the Chinese did not suffer from any loss of freedom? I think not! It seems to me like somebody needs a bit of attention. Well here it is!

  • @joyzer256001 You also have to remember that YouTube is a place for people to share their stories. THEIR stories. There was no need for this. The people who liked it should be ashamed also.

  • this song made me cry i love this song i can here this over over and over i love the movie it was so good

  • The Movie is great. Mary J. is total awesome. Some people are still so racist is is sickening. People like John Lennon were able to see a better world for all. Imagine that!

  • A beautiful movie and a beautiful singer, Mary J Blige!
