  • Thank you so much for uploading :)

  • I like this.....but it is really PG..............No where like the tone of the book, but it is appropiate for children.

  • this was SOO MUCH better than the book.

  • Thanks for the upload! I've been wanting to see this for a long time. :) Huckleberry Finn has always been one of my favorite books, and Elijah Wood one of my favorite actors.

  • When he woke up in the beginning I thought Gandalf was gonna be there.

  • thanks for the upload -- this was fun to watch :D

  • The book was better but THANKS MATT! I watched all of these parts and OMG i loved every second of it! I want them to make a Blu Ray HD version of it! ID BUY IT !

  • He looks like Eminem in the beginning.......

  • I like that in this version, Jim is accepted in society.

  • I love this movie! <3 looooove elijah wood.. so talented, even as a child! i've NEVER seen a kid act this well.. EVER :D

  • thank you for the upload.

    i enjoyed it~

  • thanks for posting....and i hope corporate disney does like huck

  • I think of the boy Huck Finn as a symbol of freedom, that each of us should come and go as they please, and that we should all have the courage to do what's right, even though it may not always be easy. So what do y'all say?

    TO HUCK FINN!

  • @derekgbartlett Hear, hear!

  • 0:02 .....Gandalf?

  • @daffodil977 LOL

  • Movie: 6/10

    Book: 9/10

  • i do enjoy it...thanks 4 sharing....

  • 3:07 cutest look EVER! <3 u elijah!

  • tears are falling down my face like i just washed my hair

  • good movie in the book they found two old ships in this they find one i was hoping to see the old were they find clothes and straw hat and Barlow pocket knife good classic book

  • Elijah has such big beutiful blue eyes! love the movie

  • And there goes our favorite hobbit!

  • Has anyone else noticed that this 'Huck Finn' and 'Tom and Huck' with Jonathan Taylor Thomas almost end exactly the same way? In both, a young girl kisses Huck on the cheek and then he tears off his fancy clothing and runs while orchestrated music plays. If they didn't add the short scene between Tom and Huck with JTT it would be identical.

  • i love this part because Jim is a now is a FREE MAN

  • like it at the end when he smiles

  • Where the hell is tom in this whole movie?? According to book there should be tom !!!

  • It is a Good movie.. Elijah wood is a very good moviestar ^^ Lord of the rings one of the best movies to!! and Eijah wood is there good to!! :D

  • wait...tom gets shot...

  • the beginning of this clip is like lord of the rings all over again lol

  • @JacquelineN7 ohh god it is i didnt realise that

  • only thing that could have made this better would be tom having a part~

  • i wonder why i ain't live in that period, when everything aren't as simple as nowaday ! when life is an adventure as always, and always fun, of course.

  • Jim's laugh sounds evil. It makes me lol!

  • good movie. i wouldn't have watched it if it wasn't for school. lol

  • @chaos6945 I totally agree.

i watch this movie, Tuesday with Morie, The Outsider, Stand By Me, Labamba, To kill a Mocking bird. because of school. and they are all GREAT MOVIE

  • thanks so much for uploading it..it was awesome!

  • The actor who plays Jim is outstanding!

  • yes elijah wood is such a good child actor

  • This is offically one of my favorite movies :D

  • Jim laughs like "The Predator."

  • thanks man !!!

  • Thanks for uploading! Awesome job.

  • ELIJAH WOOD IS SO ADORABLE HOLY MAN.

  • @ichbineinfreidenker well they were based off people he met and some of their stories

  • great music and ending that so captures Mark Twain's spirit!

  • this reminds me of when i saw this movie in elem. i love it! thanks for sharing! :D

  • thanks for this wonderful movie..

  • @ichbineinfreidenker lol neither have i

  • I love this Movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • it kind'a went wacky here in the last 2 parts maybe because if they stuck with the book it would have been a boring ending or something, and Tom is an jerk so yea... lol still good movie!

  • @ichbineinfreidenker i think the was realistic meaning it could of happen to others during that time but yes it was fiction.

  • i absolutley love this story!

i tear up everytime i watch the movie :)

  • matt484991 actually it wasn't fiction, mark twain was just like tom sawyer and he had a friend just like huck, he wrote them after his life!

  • loved it, that little rascal reminds me of myself as a kid.

  • the best disney movie EVER!

ok so i watched 2 movies that Elijah Wood stars in (The Lord Of The Rings and this)..and one cartoon (Happy Feet) and in both movies he almost died.I cried watching both movies.Thanx 4 uploading :)

  • R U SERIOUS! PIECE OF SHIT MOVIE IS NOTHING LIKE THE BOOK! FUCK DISNEY AND THERE RETARDED ASS MOVIES!

  • thank you! this IS disneys best movie!

  • Okay, so Fordo from Lord of The Rings (Elijah Wood), Little Pete from The Adventures of Pete and Pete (Danny Tamberelli), and Hadgrid (Robbie!) from Harry Potter ?

    Yes~

    Can say... awesome cast?

  • true blue huck finn

  • I'm glad disney made this, and they didnt make it clean like most of the movies they make. I like the way it is expressed in realism like the book where they give the laguage that was used in that day of time.

  • Elijah Wood !!! I love him in this one sooooooooooo much :)

  • well this does not follow the book at all! they left out many parts and cut short lots of parts too....

some of the characters name are even wrong lol its buck, not billy

  • the book is so boring, but the movie was great XD

  • Epic Fail on following the book.

  • good movie!

  • That was an awesome movie!! First time I've seen it too... :D Thanks for the upload!!

  • The Greatest Adaptation of one the Greatest Books of All time!

  • 0:08 FRODO MOMENT

  • i don't know why she tries to civilize huk you can't tame a river rat and thats what huk was a river rat

  • 2:01

    OMG :''((

  • This is the only other movie I know of besides LOTR where Elijah wakes up in a bed at the end of the movie.

  • wow, the ending is quite epic. the Satisfied laugter of Jim while Huck runs off to roam free on the river or whatever. . . very satisfing. . . and an excellent element to finish the film with. ! !

  • i read this book before

  • I love it how Jim just laughs! GREAT MOVIE!!!! GREAT BOOK =D

  • i love this movie!!

  • elijah is soo cute when hes small same goes with daniel radcliffe

  • hey i trough he is dead? 0:00

  • Why thank you fro uploading this it was very much appreciated :)

  • this help me understand the book

  • This movie always put a smile on my face. Take me back to the past. God bless you for uploading this. :D

  • @ichbineinfreidenker

it is fiction but it is based off certain parts of his life. He was a steamboater and the travling down the river was like that. He also had relatives with slaves and he wrote to critisize it

  • this movie is best i hope there more of them ^_^

  • I adore this movie, its great fun. Disneys the best and I´ve never seen Elijah wood acting so great, plus anne heche and renée o connor are in the team, impressing!

    Thanx for uploading

  • lol the beginning of this part was a lord of the rings moment! lol(:

  • Best version to the actual book.

  • haha love this movie! even though its not like the book so much, i loved it. :)

  • noooooooo

i had to read this for school, im gonna fail the test now

  • My favorite movie as a kid! Still brings out the young boy in me. Freedom on the river!

  • 2:18 Best transition ever.

  • :D I love this movie. Soo cute.

  • Anyone who is going to use this movie, instead of reading the book for class, is going to fail. Miserably.

  • yea i know this from experience

my highest test grade was a 35/100

    :(

  • @aminz196

    Thanks for the heads up

  • @aminz196 Well, phuck.

  • @aminz196 WHY didnt you type this in the first! part ...smh..

  • @BeNz103 lol

  • If Mark twain was alive now to see this version of his popular books, he would feel proud.

  • to Tempo---Tom Sawyer is not in The Adventures Of Huck Finn. It is the other way around in the fact that Huck Finn is in the Tom Sawyer movies. Learn your history. lol

  • well u could put it that way, but really i think that after the way tom acted in "the adventures of huckleberry finn" no one likes tom much after that and to me it seems that we all end up liking huck more then we used to. and huck also narrated two other tom stories "tom sawyer abroad" "tom sawyer dectective" both by mark twain. i think that shows mark twain also liked huck more then tom. anyway both great books and i love this movie

  • @yellowpages2000

Twain admitted that this book was autobiographical. Huck is Twain.

  • @ atwtlukesnyder- actually you see Tom Sawyer in the beginning of Huckleberry Finn, he sets up a gang with tom and Huck and other friends (for only like 2 chapters, of course)... and throughout the book Huck makes references to tom as he's narrating the story. Huckleberry Finn was originally created as a sequel to Tom Sawyer, and in the middle of the book you can see that Twain switched paths, and made the book completely about Huck's adventures-- it says so in the introduction of the book.

  • love the very end

  • this was a really good movie definatley worth sitting on my computer for an hour an a half watchin it on youtube:) 5/5 stars i just hope i dont watch this in my lit class cause i spoiled it for myself since im halfway through the book..good enough to watch again tho

  • Haha, I did the exact same thing :) I thought it better this way, though.

  • yeah apparently i am going to watch huck finn the movie...dang it, but the book is way different from the movie cause the king and duke do more stuff such as the royal nonesuch, and aunt sally isnt in the movie either

  • yea and in the book tom sawyer had to help huck help jim escape from that jail

  • oh yeah thats cool how they are tied in together like that

  • loved this movie

  • Noooo! I don't want it to end!!! This is how I felt with LOTR. :\

  • this movie makes me cry :( its so good

  • Gandalf?!

  • Hmm, I'm only half way done with the book and got too lazy to read the rest for school so I started watching this movie. The book seems way better. The movie left out a lot of details.

But that's what I expected, most of the times books are better than the movies and the movies made just ruin it.

    Same for Twilight! Hah. (;

  • even though its not as close to the book as one would like it to be, this movie is still AWESOME!!!

  • i'm read the 1st half of the book and watched the film and now i write my presentation about huck finn but the book is much better

  • best iv ever watched.....i read sum of the book in class and my teacher Mr. Chapman hooked me to it......

  • This was disney's best movie I love this movie!

  • I agree. ;)

  • i <3 his adorable, mischievous look in the end!

  • great movie love it thank you!!!!

i also just finished the book, thank you!!!!!!!!!

  • i don't get it where is Tom supposed to be?

  • nvm i read the comments

  • Fuck this. Really. Disney is not good for much, especially trying to adapt realist fiction into romantic storytelling. Twain hated the romantics. He would be a-spinnin in his dirt box if he'da seen this. (I'm not hating the poster of this video, just the video.)

  • oh disney...your inaccuracies and subtle nuances never fail to touch my heart. Elijah's freaking adorable, tho.

  • I hate how much Disney stretched the story... But whatever...

  • Thank you very much!!! I Just love this movie

  • i luv elijah wood! he is hot! and im only 14!

  • No, it was fiction.

  • actually some parts were based off of happenings in his life. And most of the people he knew. like huck's character was a guy named tom someone who was mark twain's friend when he was a kid.

  • i thought that because huck was beaten by his father like mark twain was that then huck was based more off of mark twain himself.

  • @matt484991 you are stupid. he based most of it off his life....

  • I just wanted to say thank you so much!!! for uploaing this, but I must say!! that in the book, I don't really think Jim was free, in fact I think Tom and Huck turned him in? so he was never free, which was sad!! I think that is how it goes I am not sure on that!!, It has been awhile since I have read the book.

  • jim actually did get set free. Tom and Huck tried to free him and make a grand escape because Tom said it had to be that way, but Tom knew that Miss Watson had set Jim free the entire time.

  • thxxxx for uploading this :D i haven't seen this in 14 years and my vhs copy broke XD elijah is gorgeous i was totally crushing on him when i was 6 lol ^^

  • thanks for uploading! Just finished reading the book for english 101 and curious about the movie, I didn't expect it to be good though, so I wasn't that much dissappointed, cause if a story has moral ambiguity and symbolism you can't really expect the movie to capture it all (especially if its made by disney and meant for younger children!) dissappinted they skipped the whole addition of Tom Sawyer though

  • I thought Sommers did a really good job capturing the moral of the story. And the ending of the book irrated me. Why did Tom Sawyer force Jim to wait in that shack for months so he could have the escape fancy? Jim was free the whole time!

  • @daxterandboxer Tom and Huck is the Disney version of Tom Sawyer and the best one in my opinion

  • @daxterandboxer Can you tell me the part with tom in it?

  • thanks for uploading this vid =)

  • No Problem! :)

  • thank you very much again! i enjoyed the movie. elijah is soooo cute!

  • Your Welcome! :)

  • Whats with Eljiah and waking up in white clothes? They did that in LOTR maybe he looks good in white?

  • Hmm..I think white is just a common clothing color in those times. And he does look good in white...he looks good in everything! :D

  • This is the only other movie i know of so far besides LOTR when he's waking up in a bed by the end of the movie.

  • thanks for uploading im very greatful love the movie so touching 5/5 ^^ plus my subscription

  • Your welcome! Thank you for subscribing!

  • About 40% of this movie followed the book. It was heart warming all right, but I wouldn't trust it to save my grade. XP

  • LOL!

  • I did enjoy the show! Thanks so so so much for uploading! I LOVE this movie!!
