Misery came out in 1990, Direct TV didn't come around until 1994, this comercial was from 2008. I wanna know how in the world they made this commercial. Pretty cool!

You all that is the same and actual actress named Kathy Bates who played Annie Wilkes in the movie for this commercial who won an Oscar for the role. The movie is almost 20 years old now so she has just aged some but it is her. She was 42 when she made the movie and is now 61. The guy in the bed was James Caan who played Paul which was a clip from the movie and the legs were probably some stunt person on the set with her.
