  • Heya DrFunk7777, that was amazing. I know it's 2012 now, but the Mastercontrol still seems so useful. I saw a comment saying you're not using it anymore but do you think it would have any problems with Cubase 6? Thanks in advance and love ur vids!

  • @areznaroque yo! i just picked up another one. HAHA!!! it works with everything man. i was in the market for another DAW, made sense to grab it again. still the most verstile thing on the market.

  • Since i have a usb midi keyboard ; wont adding this to my setup coz midi conflicts?

  • @HOWKAM143

no actually, works outstanding with my MPK49.

it will see both, and automatically assign them.

Master Control works as CONTROL assignments, the controller will work as midi NOTES.

  • @DrFunk7777 thanks that was helpful !

  • @HOWKAM143 my pleasure. glad it was helpful. :)

  • I want to play a Key on my Keyboard and want to play a soundclip, not actually a note of an instrument, I want like a 15 sec clip to play when I hit the keynote, can I do it with Cubase?? Please help me! Im new into midi :(

  • @hevanescencarrillo

    you need a software sampler.

    like Battery.

  • Can you mix EQ with some of those knobs?

  • @SveinKB3

yep, it's a midi controller, so you'd have to go into the mapping of the software and assign them.

  • cool. lets make more video

i just start want to see more

and i am looking for a mastercontrol so i think this is the right one for me

    thanks

  • @sxayaxang

it took me 5 months to respond....don't have much time to make videos anymore. =(

  • does it have 64 bit vista drivers?

  • yes, the drivers are on the website.

  • thanks heath.

  • @curszondax

    no prob.

  • Hi. i like your tuturing. can you now show is how you can mix EQ if it does that also

  • like....an automated mix controlling the EQ?

  • Hi man, Been thinking about buying this one. But I would love to see a video how the MC works with Ableton live :D

Would ya man? I'll subscribe :D

  • hmmm......if i can find time, I'll definitely do it. I can say from actual experience, that their built in template works flawlessly. stay tuned....literally. ;)

  • Hey i have a question. How do you publish or convert your whole song that you made on to your computer. I try to and it only makes it like 15 seconds. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Make sure you click, drag and highlight your ENTIRE SONG. if nothing is highlighted, it might have nothing to mix/bounce. zoom out all the way, click, drag, highlight. When all the tracks are highlight, bounce it.

    Cool?

  • yea man i figured it out by watching i think one of your other vids

    Thanks!

  • Really informative thanks indeed. One question, I have the MasterControl, but can you tell if if its possible to control the trim of the track within Cubase on the MasterControl? As far as I can see its only possible from with the DAW itself.? Can you help? Thanks in advance.

  • nope, gotta be done on the hardware.

    it's still pretty easy though.

just gotta control the outputs of whatever you're pluggin into it. Input 1 and 2 have trim control on the MC.

pretty useable...and Cubase is still pretty solid.

  • I sold my PT Digi 003 back a while ago. I find PT pretty useless. I know it's an industry standard, but I'd love for someone to tell me why PT is better.

ANYWAY, to answer your question, it works exactly like a Mackie Control for PT. Just faders, transport, hotkeys, etc. No audio.

I've got tons of plugins i'd love to give ya....BUT I CAN'T! FRIGGIN PRO TOOLS DONGLE!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

    Sorry man....juz playin. =)

  • PRO TOOLS PRO TOOLS PRO TOOLS

  • WHY WHY WHY????

Let me borrow your Pro Tools rig and i'll cut a video of the sliders moving up and down. I've done it. Just not much to talk about with a PT vid. All it does is control. PT doesn't let anyone except M Audio use audio.

Yet another reason ProTools has the market cornered on your wallet.

DAMN THE MAN! RISE UP AND REVOLT!

  • what type of midi instruments are you using?

  • the VSTi?

    It's Native Instruments B4.

    Pretty cool.

    SIDE NOTE:

Use the Master Control's PLUGIN template and you can control the draw bars with your faders. pretty sweet.
