  • lol i just got the same les paul!

  • Boby!! that sounds like nothing else matters from metallica!!

  • where's part 2/3 at? :o

  • Holy Wars solo by Megadeth the first two rifts.

Sounds a lot like holy Wars the beginning.. But Mustaine adds like a lot of speed to them

  • I have been playing for 5 months and this helpped alot

    thank you :)

  • Love the vids man, if i become a famous guitar player, i will have a thank you for you in my first CD and it will say "special thanks to Bob from Canada".

  • Nice lesson. This will help me alot with my solos and to construct them better. I think bands should start bringing back old school rock and get out of all this core stuff. No offence to you core fans out there. i.e. Hardcore, metalcore, deathcore, etc etc.

  • @jedimastergarcia87 Im a core fan.. none taken :)

  • i have the same trings, but mine always fuzz, i adjusted my trus rod but the only way to stop it really is to have it so far it makes my playing weird/

  • can you help me? how can you know what key is the song in? is it different from the major scale of e..

  • these riffs suck! not realy wat im looking for

  • @theNutSacks .....thanks for the offer, but i'm not your type, lol!

  • @BobbyCrispy omg

  • @theNutSacks and you shouldn't tell any1 how to play guitar or anything of that matter, that's individual, it's like telling some1 how to walk or breathe, dumbass

  • @bakikatana I'm just giving my awesome advices, it's your choice whether you follow them and become a guitar hero or not. And stop using numbers like that, it's gay

  • @theNutSacks lol piss of fledgling

  • @bakikatana that's nice piss you've got there

  • @theNutSacks nice piss i've got there ??? WTF, you do realize what you just said, rite ??

when did you try my piss -.^

  • @bakikatana well then you'd just better learn how to write you stupid dildo!

  • @theNutSacks so you consider "Suck me" awesome advice???? WTF????

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH! YOUR VIDEOS HAVE HELPED ME ALOT!!

  • Thanks so much for putting these videos up. I've gone through several of your vids, and they are all incredibly helpful.

Seriously, man - you're a hell of a guy for helping out like this. Thanks!

  • I have a faded brown Gibson studio Les Paul and it's the worst guitar that I have, it's going on ebay soon, what a disappointment that thing is...

  • hi man your vids are awsome, i was just wondering what kind of les pual that is because im going to buy one. is it a gibson LP studio? its very nice.

  • hey bobby have u owned a fender stage 160 or played threw one was wanting some info on it im into acdc that kind of stuff let me know ...thanks from ohio

  • wow, really good! thanks for this riffs! ;)

  • Gibson studio, or Epiphone? Looks like a Gibson with the inlays.

  • Not to try to drag you down, but try it with less reverb. It's kinda hard to hear every note with the reverb eccoing the note played before.

  • Thanks Bobby. well done and very helpfull and usefull

  • is he married..... like im just wondering, im not gay dont worry im just wondering.

  • @TheBeatlesGuitar been there done that a long time ago :-)

  • @BobbyCrispy your the master, im gonna look at most of your vids to see your skillz, this is gonna help so much!

  • @BobbyCrispy Thank you sir for these vids. I have a question. Each time I bend a string (And I play other strings along with the bend) They get bent as well and hence drop out of tune. I guess this is normal but is there anything wrong with my technique? Thanks again

  • @BobbyCrispy dude what settings you got to get that sound--- in simple mans language please

  • @BobbyCrispy Been there, done that, got the t-shirt? lol

  • @BobbyCrispy

Bobby could you please do a video on the phantom of the opera by iron maiden

  • Do you show any easyer solos

  • it sounds all the same ;) -> a bit ;D

  • thank you for your very interesting video. Adeu per part de MrArnauna

  • how do i know what key its in?

  • Bobby, would this be played over the Key of E?

    Thanks for the lesson.

  • Bobby I think you should play a little solo incorparating what you just taught us to the end of these videos it would make it a bit more easily applicable it's just an idea your teaching is still great. ROCK ON

  • I know this will sound kinda silly but should i practice these licks to a metronome to get faster? How do i play with a metronome if i have to bend and hammer on /pull off? Thanks this has really helped me :)

  • do you also have a revision of part 2 and 3?

  • can you please make a tutorial video for " the kids aren't alright" by the offspring.. please!!!!!!!!!!111

  • your lessons are helping ,thanks me too much ,thanks bobby.

  • my strings are fucking stiff cant do the first riff

  • this lesson is beautiful

  • wwhat tuning you on?

  • Oh and I just figured out. This lesson covers most of the riffs Jimmy Page uses in his Dazed and Confused solo

  • Awesome guitar lesson. I've also checked out the pentatonic scales and damn I don't think I'll ever play guitar that fast. I mess up even when I play slow and I'm learning on my acoustic or unplugged electric ( I don't have an amp).

Thanks for everything, you're the most awesome man on youtube

  • ONe of the best BEST helping lessons I have gotten thank you so much

  • im so happy that speed was never a problem to me:)

  • Do you've a guitar lesson of stairway to heaven?

    i love this song

    thx man

  • @timek900 ...yeah, just search for "stairway to heaven guitar lesson bobbycrispy" on youtube.....thanks :-)

  • @BobbyCrispy I just wanted to thank you sir for being a giver, and taking the time to make all these video's. You're helping alot of people who are struggling with guitar playing, and making it easy for them. I speak for alot of people when I say

  • @guitarprism thank you my friend!! :-)

  • @guitarprism i agree

  • you are the best man!!!!

  • thanks bobby this is a great video but i can get the fingering right but not the picking are there any tips for the picking? :)

  • heey, i have a question, when you do a pull of, just remove finger without picking? :O

  • @SROmaker

yeah you dont pick, the string will make a sound when you take off your finger.

  • great video bobby :)

  • is there any chance you could do a video that focuses on different combinations of hammer ons and pull offs kinda in the style of Niel Schon?

  • Bobby, could you please tell me the amp settings/effects you used for that video? I love this guitar sound but I just can't get it. Thank you!

  • on 2:13 its like the riff from the eruption!

  • your teaching leaves all of us a little crispy......theres nothing wrong with that!!!! thanks Bobby.....could you please tell what keys these are played in....

  • @thebluesrockers Pretty sure they're all in E as they're based around the 12th fret, but my knowledge of theory is a bit shaky.

  • this is awesome... it really shows how the awesome sounding riffs are so simple yet sound horrible if not played fast enough... thank you!

  • thanks bobby..i can always use a new lick, youve got a nice site too

  • what effect using ?? tell me please

  • awesome lesson dude

  • são ótimas pegadas de itensão rock blues, da para pegar bastante coisa.

  • What is the difference between regular sleenky and super slinky strings are their any advantages or disadvantages?

  • Nice lesson, any idea on when you will do a revised version of the 2nd and 3rd part?

  • your pickin is nice, but the sound of the amplifier is bad, poor

  • @SecconeMagrao He probably doesnt mic up his amp, and just uses his camera to record audio

  • mediator ?

  • awesome now i can buy strings like u!

  • Bobby, What strings do you prefer?

  • earnie ball super slinky :-)

  • I guessed right :D .. I'm using regular slinkys though.

  • @BobbyCrispy I USE THE SAME Strings i think they're awesome

  • @BobbyCrispy I play the same guitar, with the same strings lol

    Super slinky EB's are awesome.

    pink package ;)

  • @BobbyCrispy whats the difference between different strings?

    do they sound better?

iam a guitar beginner, so this is interesting for me

  • @BobbyCrispy Nice i use them :)

  • @BobbyCrispy i was gonna ask that lol... but now i know what to buy :)

  • Thanks, bobby!

  • greeeeeeat lesson men thanks a lot

  • The key is to pluck the string and than pull of at the right time. It just takes practice.

  • great , but i cant do it with right hand :S

  • really need to see your right hand , noobies like me need to see the style of pickin, the speed i can go is just pathetic :P nice vid though, helpful tips.

  • any tips on coming up with your own licks?

  • uhm, I'm having trouble controling my fingers.

I also can't really read tabs....

I can play decent piano / keyboard though.

But even though I can play compositions on piano, I still can't really read notes....

So is there something you know of that could help me learn to play guitar?

  • @SNoRRo practice and lessons... im trying to self teach and have gotten pretty good in the past few months, but ya lessons are faster.

  • it's the gibson les paul vintage mahogany i bet...

i have the same one...its a sick guitar

  • no it's a gibson les paul studio

  • yeah your right...mine is a studio too...it just come with the natural cherry wood finish or brown instead of the laquer.

  • I do kinda like the 3rd riff. It's too easy to not add in somewhere. Thanks.

  • i don't know but the finish of your guitar looks like the dark fire

  • not a dark fire no single coil carbon fiber neck pickup and no carbon fiber inlays

  • love it verry helpfull but just a small example of what s possible by putting it all together at the end just a litle impro from you whit all the lesson together to see what you can do whit all those lick !its not a critic love what you did just want some more from you hehe i like the lesson for fast rock and roll!it rocks

    >>In the first green annotation you forgot to put the N at the end of "Iron Maide(n)"

  • yes, could be also in E major

  • the first riff was similar to comfortably numb great lesson 5 stars for ever

  • it would be cool if you added some tapping in some of the riffs.

    Good Vid Though

  • Thats is name he has the right to put what ever the HELL he wants too! Ur not him AND U SURE ENOUGH CAN"T TELL A GROWN MAN TO DO!

  • so... does that mean that your real name is cho0ongner456?

  • well no, but me and my friends made a joke about it, and now the magic of his videos is dead.

  • how?

  • Not that the lesson quality has been declining, but somehow, when I hear "Hi, i'm BobbyCrispy" I die a little inside. Like if they made Ghostbusters 3, wouldn't it kill the nostalgia? Same thing.

  • Jimmy Page used alot of those riffs on the first Zeppelin album
