Rollo has got to be the best Frank Zappa piece I ever heard. The cartoony synthesizer on this rendition makes the whole album. I love it all, but that bit is just fantastic.

Jack Bruce to this day swears he didn't play bass on Apostrophe. He says his only contribution to the album sessions was on cello, though FZ had an entirely different recollection.

This is good. There are various clips from Apostrophe posted and they're all great, but it's too bad nobody has a clip of Frank and Jack Bruce doing the title cut. It's some of the most awesome bass work I've ever heard.

Cal Schenkel is one of the great cartoon artists of the 20th - 21st century, much in the same manner that Max Fleisher cartoon were influential to the popular culture of an earlier error.
