Dude have you ever used a Air Flow Bench? I have directly tested Cold Air Intakes vs Stock Air Box. Cold Air intake always flowed more air. The only reason factories use box air flow is usually for fuel economy and sound level.

it seems like a lot of trouble just for those chrome pipes i mean your able to use your stock tubes and mass air flw sensors all your really doing is changing out the filters from a stock rectangle filter to a cone. although i have to admit injen did make it a really noce setup for the G35 :)

i got a question. how exactly does a cold air intake decrease the temperature of intake air. I mean the stock air box has more fins = greater surface area = more heat loss, that's why i reckon it would be a more effective intake system than a CAI. Of course I know i'm wrong or else companies like AEM would'nt have been that big :) lol. is the trick in placing the intake conical fins away from the engine bay? please someone clarify this point for me?! thnx
