@srt4slow all depends on the driver 4 the srt i went to the import vs. domestic at english town n there were 4 stock turbo srt-4's all with some bolt on's and only 1 pulled a 13.8 that same guy pulled mid to low 14's the rest all pulled pretty much mid 14's one even pulled a 14.7 my brothers srt pulled a 12.4 he's got a 50 trim tho and my other brothers legacy pulled a 13.2 but he his tranny was on it's way out and he had a bad fuel cut at the top of 1st now he's built tranny and no fuel cut

Ya, drag races show the most of your car, but the trap speeds are proven in these highway rolls, SRT4s trap high with mods so they pull hard up top. Saying only digs count is just a crutch for the AWD advantage. If you know anything about street tuning, and were born before 2003, you should know this. I hate srt4s, but I don't mess with modded ones on the highway.
I also would rather drive a justy, just as long as its the 4wd model. I like to be able to keep traction when drivin out of a hairpin on the backroads. Subaru ftw! I love my wrb rex! While the LGT is a nice enough car, and produces some decent power numbers and performance, its not a car that would make me nervous in the least. As a matter of fact, I walked one from about a 40 mph roll in my 300C SRT8 he ended up about 10 car lengths back (seriously) perhaps he couldn't drive, but its most likely the car (LGT) and its opponent!
SRT8 is 425 CHP @4200lbs. My LGT is 415CHP @ 3300 lbs.
SRT8=0.1hp/lb. LGT= .125 hp/lb. The math is simple. your also 420 ft/lbs torque while im around 450ft/lbs. The SRT is a potent car no doubt, but my legacy also isn't anywhere near stock. But there aren't any internals either. My brother has a 70 dart swinger with a close ratio 5 speed and a stroked 409. Him and I are neck and neck.

Yeah, my car is actually a bit modified as well, Inertia heads, CAM, Predator CMR tune, Kooks headers, Corsa cat-back, and a custom race stock intercooler. In June it posted 468RWH and 490lb feet on the Dyno. In November I ran a 12.32@117 at Englishtown, NJ and had a 1.8 60ft time ;) My big, fat, sedan can do some damage. @ghadkgh reliability is greater in the srt4 than the sti. yiu can mod the srt4 up to 500whp without changing internals cuz the cast iron block can handle [power. the subarus are time bombs as soon as u mod them. their aluminum blocks with non forged pistons overheat and will blow when pushing over 24 psi. they are meant to rally not to have a shit load oh hp to race. an srt is meant to handle power and destroy the sti on drag. maybe not a track although the neon can do just fine around corners.

1)A Legacy is a more mature car than both an Impreza & a Neon, thus a heavier & more stable performance-wise.
2)EJ257/EJ255s are durable up to 500awhp on stock internals, about as good as the SRT4's engine. No need to hate on it.
3)Legacies have stronger transmissions & the Spec B has one of the strongest transmissions in all of existence.
4)Don't sleep on EJ blocks. It takes a LOT to destroy them & people usually blow them up because they choose to. EJ22E/EJ22Ts are just about invincible.

I have a 95 Legacy L and I beat an SRT-4 in a drag race. Highway races when they start racing while moving don't prove anything, heck the neon was probably in 3rd and the legacy was probably in 6th.

From a standing start no change for the Neon, but on a roll a 2wd with similar power/weight ratio will always beat a 4wd. For years I had an Eclipse turbo 2wd and my roomate a GSX and he always launched really hard on me but by 60-70mph I was cruising by. He said he needed to get out and push at 80.

Yeah, my car is actually a bit modified as well, Inertia heads, CAM, Predator CMR tune, Kooks headers, Corsa cat-back, and a custom race stock intercooler. In June it posted 468RWH and 490lb feet on the Dyno. In November I ran a 12.32@117 at Englishtown, NJ and had a 1.8 60ft time ;) My big, fat, sedan can do some damage. That SRT-4 and LGT stock vs stock, the legacy would eat it. I have one and have walked on a couple SRT-4's. The best part about that NEON is that you could get 1000hp in and and beat my legacy, but at the end of the day I still win because you are driving a neon, cheap garbage.

you cant mod awd into a car. thats a HUGE selling point for us looking for awd. bonus that it can be modded and not some stripped out tin can.

My LGT has power leather heated seats, heated windshield, heated mirrors, auto dual zone climate, homelink autodimming mirror, heads up display, along with every other power option. It is a higher end vehicle my friend, obviously you have never been in one.

@ghadkgh reliability is greater in the srt4 than the sti. yiu can mod the srt4 up to 500whp without changing internals cuz the cast iron block can handle [power. the subarus are time bombs as soon as u mod them. their aluminum blocks with non forged pistons overheat and will blow when pushing over 24 psi. they are meant to rally not to have a shit load oh hp to race. an srt is meant to handle power and destroy the sti on drag. maybe not a track although the neon can do just fine around corners.

1)A Legacy is a more mature car than both an Impreza & a Neon, thus a heavier & more stable performance-wise.
2)EJ257/EJ255s are durable up to 500awhp on stock internals, about as good as the SRT4's engine. No need to hate on it.
3)Legacies have stronger transmissions & the Spec B has one of the strongest transmissions in all of existence.
4)Don't sleep on EJ blocks. It takes a LOT to destroy them & people usually blow them up because they choose to. EJ22E/EJ22Ts are just about invincible.

i drive a 2001 legacy sedan, and i love it, but SRT4's are nothing to really shake a stick at, yeaaah its still a neon and a little on the uglier side but i would take a SRT over a SS/SC any day, love cars in general, just putting in my 2 cents, i dont think anybody is really "wrong" i just think some people need to be more opwn minded, i have seen SRT's kill some shit i.e. STi's Legacies and alot of stuff...so they can still be made fast

I have a 95 Legacy L and I beat an SRT-4 in a drag race. Highway races when they start racing while moving don't prove anything, heck the neon was probably in 3rd and the legacy was probably in 6th.
Let's see something a little more concrete, like a drag race or a rally race (lol)

From a standing start no change for the Neon, but on a roll a 2wd with similar power/weight ratio will always beat a 4wd. For years I had an Eclipse turbo 2wd and my roomate a GSX and he always launched really hard on me but by 60-70mph I was cruising by. He said he needed to get out and push at 80.
