  • Very nice playing man! I think you are finishing to convince me to buy this midi controller. But are the keys real sized? Or are they quite smaller? I'd appreciate any response. Thanks!

  • @Wawasaki the keys are real sized, as are the keys of most synths out in the market

  • awesome

  • so how do controllers work? do you have to have USB and a program to make sounds or can you save sounds onto the controller?

  • also check out the roland ax or ax 7 for other midi controllers

  • Nice job, man! Did you apply another VST? Really good... I got in your inscricions. :-)

  • @rasocomercial Thx bro! No, I used only oatmeal on this video

  • Say dude I have a question. Why do I get low sound when I connect my UMA25S into the computer; even with the volume on both set to the maximum.

  • try to check volume on both the plug in you're using and the audio settings of your computer

  • Sorry for the unclear comment, I was talking about the MaliceX sound bank which I have problems loading in Oatmetal :)

    thank you

  • well, i haven't had any problems loading banks on oatmeal. Maybe you could try downloading the banks again...

  • Hi, I have the oatmetal plugin, I use it with Ableton Live. I downloaded your preset banks but I can´t make them work. I saved them in the Oatmetal folder but they do not appear in the bank. When I try to load them manually from the plugin in Ableton it says that the file format is not accepted, only .fxb files are readable.

Thanks in advance for your help!!!!

    goldoch

  • yours is a behringer UMA25S?

i got one recently but i can´t figure out how to make the presets (how to make them doesn´t come in the manual), can you help me out?

    nice vid, btw :)

  • Great playing! Could I ask you what kind of sound module or soft synth are you using? The guitar solo sounds pretty realistic, I lack a guitar sound like this. Thanks in advance!

  • I used Fuzzpliz Oatmeal, it's a free softsynth, you can search for it at kvraudio website. The patch I used is called "rolandish lead 5", which you cand find in the bank named "maliceX favourite variations"

  • heheh i love this stuff, i was hoping to find this since I am interested in buying one of these, but more as a midi controller not so much a keytar, but thats badass my friend

  • Thanks a lot! =)

  • how do u get the keyboard to work outside without pluging it in to the comp. and how do u get it to work with the ableton live program if u got that with it. i got the same one but i cant do a thing with it. nuttin works. any help will be appreciated.

  • To use it without the pc, you have to hook it to a sound module with a midi cable. To use ableton live or any program, you just have to plug it to the pc via usb. Then, in the program settings window, you have to select Uma25s as one of your midi in devices.

  • When you say sound module, can this be an amplifier?

  • No, it has to be a Tone generator, as a yamaha motif rack xs or a fantom xr.

  • Thanks so much for getting back so quick- that makes it clearer! I didnt get it ^^ Cos I mainly want it for live performance, like that. XD I hope those tone generator sound modules arent expensive much.

  • Never mind! :)

  • Oh my god! The good ones (aka the ones you mentioned) Are like £1000's *O*;;; ... I'll have to save.

  • hahahaha maybe you could check on ebay...

  • It looks like neckless keytar. Sounds and looks really good, though.

  • are good UMA 25 better than umx 25?

  • I couldn't tell you since I've never played an umx 25. As you can see i use de Uma25s for playing as a keytar, but it seems that if you need a keyboard for making music, then go for the umx 25, or even the umx49 (because of the keybed)

  • Nice! I'm thinking about getting one of these - what do you think of it? Is it awkward to play standing up with the strap on at all?

  • It's a very suitable option in what respects to keytar stuff... It's nice cos' it's very light and you can rock with it xD But the keybed is not that confortable, but as you aren't going to use it as a principal keyboard but for soloing, I think it's a good option
