  • @vubevube My altima would still slaughter it. :D

  • My altima would slaughter it.

  • @tyhicks2 0-60 definitely, above that, forget about it.

  • the toyota celica hasn't the turbo

  • @onepieceFRANKY1 haha man you made me laugh :D thanks ;)

  • 0-100kmh in 7.5 seconds

  • i know it sounds stupid but im new. is the "trd" some type of system similar to honda's "v-tec' ?

  • @jerkininjamaica TRD stands for Toyota Racing Developement, so basically Toyotas official tuner. not that i would have anything tuned by them in my car :)

  • @vubevube ohhhhh thanks a lot :) haha

  • @jerkininjamaica the "VVTL-i" is similar to VTEC lol :) TRD is just Toyota's aftermarketed company. although VVT-i isn't :l (i have a vvt-i)

  • @jerkininjamaica TRD is just toyota's tuner .. VVT-i is the similar system to V-tec.

  • i have toyota celica vvtl-i with 190HP so if i will have new clutch the speed of ur car and mine are almost indentically will be the same?do you think?

  • @pancracius09 well, not realy because your lift kicks in at 6000rpm while my turbo boosts at 3000rpm so i have much more power for a longer time on each gear. an 190hp celica has 0-600 times of 7,8s if im not mistaken and mine has roughly 6,5

  • @vubevube Depending on the year of the GT-S and if it's an auto or not. But an 2000 GT-S 0-60 should be around 6.5 seconds.

  • @magicstik213 well, if that's the case.. maybe it would be a close one althoug i raced a stock vvtl-i celica and from 3rd gear it stood no chance. but then again it depends on driver skills as well.

  • @vubevube Pretty sure you have more torque and more HP than a stock 2zz so it's to be expected especially if it's low end torque. Not to mention US spec 00 GT-S gearing isn't very good so it's hard to land in lift from 1st to 2nd and without lift a 2zz is gutless

  • @vubevube that´s right :)

  • @vubevube ei bro, I'm planning to put some turbo to my gts but im not sure if still even worth it, my car is year 2000 toyota celica with 146k mileage. how much mileage you already have?and how much it cost you to install that kind of turbo?

  • @pancracius09 if your engine is ok (not taking oil etc) then go for it. turboed GTS are beast. when i turboed my gt i swapped engine for one with 50k mileage but just because i had issues with burning oil. and the cost was around 4000Euro and turboing GTS is a similar cost.

  • hi how much is the horsepower of this turbo GT ?

  • @pancracius09 220hp

  • Did u have to get the custom gauge set from LED.com or did u just buy the blue LED and installed them into the original stock gauge.thnx

  • @jerryg2010 i did have to get the custom gauges because stocks have orange scale and changing leds to blue wouldn't make it glow blue. though i heard you can clear the orange scale from the original gauges with acethone and then just change the leds. never tried that so dunno if it will work.

  • Awesome Guages dude, ive been wanting to change the ones on my celica but have no idea how... Did u have a shop do it.? and where can I get them.?

  • @uchiha0001 ledmod . com

  • Turbo ya say? I don't hear a turbo whistle nor a BOV hmmm did you pop the hood or just trust it was a turbo when ya bought it? lol

  • @antknee420 so you claim that if there's no whistle or bov to be heard from a car then there's no way for it to be turbo'ed? nice conclusions you reach there. as it happens my setup doesn't need a bov because it has a wastegate (of some sort-dunno i'm not the mechanic) and it's not too loud. and yes i'm pretty sure it has a turbo in it, mainly by the way it does 6,5 sec to 60mph, 220hp and 5000$ put into it.

  • @vubevube not to argue, i do believe you do have a turbo... BUT my celica will do 0-60mph in just over 5 sec. i dont have a turbo. check it out in my vids. i have done some work to it. headers back, shaved heads, cams, crank, and valves....

  • @cbstrei108 well you have modded vvtL-i and i have turboed vvt-i so it's nothing uncommon for yours to be faster. there are many n/a celicas that are really strong, i do not claim mine is really fast but it's enough for me i guess.

  • @cbstrei108 You should consider that lots of things can change how a car runs. Climate, altitude, tuning, fuel, weather, driver, ect. You could have a car that runs 14's in cali, change nothing, and run the same car in Utah, and run 16's. Its just part of the industry. Claiming to have a faster car, and having never run in the same location is retarded.

  • @Ghostixe no i understand. was just saying...@vubevube also why woujd u put a turbo in ur car with out changing at least ur rings?? just seams to me that your going to fuck something up lol.

  • @cbstrei108 the piston rings you mean? well, two reasons.. first, the engine was swapped to a 2005 vvt-i which doesn't have the oil burning problem. second, this turbo set up was done on more than 6 cars by the same car shop and none of them had any engine issues. so i trust them they know what they're doing. and this set up has potential to make more power but is set for a stock engine to last.

  • @vubevube 6.5 to 60 you say? hmm....only supercharged cobalts do it in 6 flat.at 205hp i agree with @antknee420 probs no turbo ..maybe supercharged?

  • @Lacross523 ok you know better what's in my car and what i payed for ;)

  • @vubevube wow u really cant take criticism well huh?...sad

  • @Lacross523 did my last comment made you think i care? look, it even has a smiley face at the end, meaning i don't care. i know what i've got, wanted to clarify but you're entitled to your own opinion.

  • Hmmm, my Celica S hits something about 105 kmh in 2nd Gear... Is your Panel alright? or have you changed something on Transmission/Engine? I´m still wondering since beginning of your Video :)

  • @CreepOfWar gearbox is from a TS so the gears are shorter

  • @CreepOfWar this thing doesn't rev to 8200rpm (there abouts) so it can't get as much speed.

  • How did you get your panel blue like that?

  • @dirtbikefreak116 gauges from ledmod . com and blue LEDs

  • @dirtbikefreak116 looks like old gallardo :) very nice :)

  • Kilometers

  • I like the blue color

  • @SoUlFindErAmAtEuR my brother supra hits 110km/h on 2nd

  • god dayum is that 180 km or 180 mi?

  • @CwalkInREDndYELLOW lol it says KMH in the video man !

  • @SoUlFindErAmAtEuR yes it does. first two gears are very short in a celica. which doesn't do it any good when it comes to 0-100km/h times. the fun starts from the third gear. but then again how can you compare a celica to a supra? it's a different league, celica is just a younger sister of supra ;)

  • @vubevube I hate to tell you buddy but the supra was a celica at one point until it branched off in the late 80's

  • @SpazzGod i'm well aware of that but how does that contribute to comparing MODERN toyota models? up to 2000 supra and celica were full grown sport cars, and then Toyota decided to make celica an economic car. so you can not compare an 1990+ supra with a 2000+ celica because it's a totally different story.

  • This is not fast for a celica...hard to believe it's a turbo. My stock gt-s has a higher top speed and 0-97 kmh.

  • @m00kytw do you seriously believe this video shows the top speed of my car? i let it go at 180 because the road where i was going wasn't safe enough to get to top speed, but on the highway i got to 240km/h and at that point i had 7000rpm on 6 gear so it wouldn't go any faster. as for acceleration, i don't believe you, i've raced couple of stock vvtl-i's and none of them had any chance from 3rd gear

  • @vubevube I thought Gt's were 5 speed

  • @knighthalk45 not in europe

  • hi there is that the c2 power kit? mmm i got bord with my 143hp must do something to it. nice gouges.

  • @d3vjak no it isn't, it's a custom kit from a company here in Poland, but i've heard C2 is really ok so go for it ;) with turbo it really drives like it should from the start ;) and if you want i can give you details of the company that made my turbo kit and installed it, they have much experience with these engines. it has cost me around 4000 Euro and they need 3 weeks to do it.

  • love your car man. Just bought my 140 version :) where you from?

  • @PouriaLDN Poland m8. have fun with your vvt-i :) and if you get bored with it.. go turbo ;)

  • @vubevube yeah but i think i might get vvtli next year then go turbo. How much did turbo cost you?

  • @PouriaLDN also a good idea. i sometimes miss having that 1000RPM more at each gear. the whole kit except clutch but with instalation has cost me around 3000quid

  • your gauges rocks

  • @KitaKillerz thx ;)

  • @vubevube The car too :P

  • jesus that things cruisin..
