  • did you record this with your pipboy 3000?

  • o governo deveria tampar esses buracos e izolar á área d e curiosos ou crianças cairem nessas clateras enormes!!

  • You wouldn't want to be wandering around out there in the dark would you? LG.

  • Have visited a Titan silo north of Cheyenne Wyoming off of Hwy 85 half way to Torrington Wy.. Awesome how they are structured. Was stationed at Ellsworth AFB in the Minuteman 2 program between 1983-85.

  • Christ.Big holes to leave open for anyone to fall down.

  • @saltydog45 This is the United States glory holes :)

  • @SuburbAllied Yep,well fucked by a hole :)

  • Why didn't you pull that big lever?

  • My penis might fit in there.

  • Hanford area anyone?

  • Could these be old enough to be minute man missle silos instead of atlas? They are about the right size and many of them were just aboandoned with there doors open since they were so much smaller than atlas silos!

  • tis is shame these silos empty and only used for tourists. :(

  • Where are these located? Are they provately owned yet?

  • We used to get wasted a break into an abandoned missile silo site back in high school. The strangest thing I remember were some massive springs. No idea what set on them. It was probably 5 stories underground, but who knows, one of the floors was full of water. One person fell to their death in an elevator shaft. There were also several cars shoved over the edge and burnt at the bottom of one silo. Crazy, exhilarating, dangrous times. Oh to go back!

  • at 0:18 those vent shafts are SCARY deep, they look alot worse when you explore these at night.

  • were did these guy go to buy them

  • Can you tell me which silo (724C or other) this is? State?

    Thanks

  • Those silos seem to be very close together and not that large - they may just be the radar silos. (search for Titan 1 Base drawings)

  • Titan I sites are probably the biggest most complex sites ive seen,i think they got way smaller and more compact over the decades, now the ICBM's we have today are in little tiny holes in the ground that come screaming out when they get mad LoL

ICBM's Delivery in 30 minutes or the next one is free!

  • This missile silo looks more like one of the testing ones or one of the ballistic ones i been studying these silo for like 7 years. i seen many of them and i am trying to find some that i can get some stuff from them.

  • Your footage of the doors open is the first I have seen. My father and 3 other men were killed in August of 1961 at a Titan I constuction site (1A) near Denver when the doors fell shut. It took them about 3 days to get the thme reopened because of the force. It was called a "hydrolic failure". I have visited the site with my brother and he went underground in a prior visit. Dor you have any other footage of the site. I would be very interested. Thanks for posting this.

  • @buggyapp I'm really sorry to hear about your father. I only recently found out about the other two sites have have looked in the direction of their locations from the road as I drove past. I have no idea how to go about getting permission to visit those bases. I did read that one of them was used for a hacker conference and there should be video of it somewhere on YouTube.

  • @thomasrchavez I went onto the site about five years ago with my brother as he knew the owner and got permission. I could contact him to see if it is still owned by the same guy. It was pretty cool. I found a military data plate for an identical hydrolic pump which was one stock number from the one that failed next to the silo which the accident occurred.

  • @buggyapp so did they die of suffucation?

  • @buggyapp

It's like a horror version of Super Mario.

  • @buggyapp

    Seriously though. Rest in Piece.

  • hmm i didnt know Wash. had deserty looking places, ill have to travel there sometime.

  • @OsanBlackCat5RS The Cascade mountain range makes most clouds dump their rain in the western third of Washington and Oregon. Both states are two thirds desert and mostly uninhabited by people.

  • @thomasrchavez sounds like my kind of place!

  • Hey... haha I've been there! It's pretty nice except for the water and rust and asbestos.. still, it's pretty sweet.

  • Do you know which number silo this is?

  • those terminal vent shafts are so creepy esspecially at night!

  • if the miltary really wanted to hide a base you would go deep under ground there would be no fence no road only in and our via heli.. so no tracks from cars.. all the hatches and missle doors would be flat and covered with vegitation.. there to easy to spot from space now.. besically youd be looking at the ground from space and not see a thing till its to late

  • at 1:24 atleast you can log a find for a benchmark

  • what camera are you using?

  • @xstretcherjockeyx The camera is a Sony HDR-SR11

  • thank you!

  • Are those huge doors the silo covers?

  • @valleyfever Yes the doors covered the tubes where the missiles were stored. I have no idea how the doors opened since they seemed to have been fixed in place.

  • @thomasrchavez Welcome to Warden Washington , that old missile complex is about 6 miles from my house , there is another one in Royal City about 45 mins sw of warden. and another one in Odessa Washington . The odessa one is still in tact and i dont think it flooded out .

  • @cled66

Those are actually Atlas missile silos in Washington State.

  • @kallsop They are Titan I sites for sure, not Atlas F sites. This one is definitely a Titan I site. A Titan I site has 3 missiles that were controlled by one control center.

    I'm an old Titan guy.

There is a lot of interesting stuff in these sites. It's unbelievable how many tunnels and stuff are down there.

  • @Bbendfender Thanks for the info. I guess it was that the doors resemble the Atlas Silo's is why I thought that.

  • @cled66 How does the property owner feel about people being on the base? I kept expecting that at any moment a farmer would come out of one of the buildings, waving a shotgun and yelling, "Get off my land!"
