I have this monster mix of the pretty poison track on an prehistoric tape from 1987 from 'cau 98 fm in Philly back before Pretty Poison blew up nationally. It's got all these mix elements I've never heard anywhere else and are better than any of the 3 commercial remixes. I just wish I had a proper digital recording of it. Or of the extended of Expose's "I Know You Know." Great mix from miami on this one.

I am from the Bay Area and I will say that we were all unified (Blacks, Latinos [Mexicans], Asians and Filipinoswhen it came to these beats by, ironically, a white dude named Cameron Paul. He was the DJ on KMEL and was bumpin freestyle, hip hop under one umbrella. I wish I could have seen how rockin' Miami was back in these days. Freestyle 4 ever!
