Your hair is so beautiful and full.I love it! That's what I want,I don't even care about length anymore,I want healthy full hair! Sorry my comment is super long lol, but I just live your hair, keep up the good work!
Omg! Your hair is beautiful! I'm currently one year and six months natural but I didn't big chop yet.my natural hair comes up to my shoulders and maybe an inch just above my shoulders and I so wanna BC my relaxed ends but i'm afraid to cuz my mom won't go for that. I don't feel like i'm progressing because the ends are straight and thin compared to my roots (a year and five months ago I had a bad relaxer and it broke off a good amount of my hair).I really wanna get rid of em but with my mother..
Ladies, thank you ALL for your kind and inspirational comments!! I do pop in every now and then but it is really hectic right now but soon (next month) I will do an update bc I'll be on Christmas break...Will definitely do a vid on how I juggle grad school and parenthood/wifehood...Thought that would really inspire those who may not think they can accomplish it...The key is an awesome support system!!! Thanks again for all of the love and I will answer questions in a vid soon!!
OMG, your hair is amazing!!! Simply beautiful! Congratty on continuing your education. Even if you are able to pop in every 6 months is good. Your priorities are definitely set correctly... But, it is always good to see you!
So inspired by your natural hair journey! Your hair and skin is beautiful. Wishing u much success with grad school and thanks for taking time to do these inspiring videos.
You look great and it's nice to see you. Go ahead and DO YOU! I'm trying to get into grad school too. I hope that your family us well. Take care and study as best you can. See you when you have time.
Amazing Growth!!! Your hair is beautiful!!! How often are you straightening now?
Congratulations about enrolling in Grad School. I know you will do well. Bless you regarding juggling the responsibilities of being a Wife, Mother, and Student. It is not easy, however continue to stay encouraged!!! :)
@justbiteme3 Thanks! I straighten by using the chase method that I actually did a vid on a little while back...I apply a light leave in, heat protectant and put my hair in twists now bc they're easier to comb out when preparing for my flat iron...I do the same flat iron method as I demonstrated in the video...Check out my straightening vid on here and u will actually see what I do :)
@UtubeHairCare hmmm...I have to think waaay back...lol...My last relaxer was actually in '05 or sometime in early '06...I actually kept my hair short for a while bc I liked it so I would get it shaped up at the salon or barber shop...So, I wouldn't say that it is an accurate account of how long it will take to grow it out from start to finish if that makes sense? I kept it short for a few months and then I was like "I'm ready to grow this out!" lol Hope that helps!
Wow, wow, wow!!! Your hair is absolutely beautiful AND healthy. I've been wanting to see your hair straight and it finally happened lol!! I'm so inspired by your journey and how long and beautiful your hair is. Thanks for stopping by. I wish u many, many Blessings in grad school!! Be Blessed :)
@cherryboboc Thanks :-) I put my hair in twists after applying a leave in and heat protectant and then after they dried (next day) I took it twist down and applied a small amount of heat protectant and flat ironed my hair via the chase method (using a boar bristle brush part of the time) with a fine toothed comb...My hair was detangled so the fine tooth didn't snag in my hair...That's pretty much it!
