PART2 -I think I would have to establish its purpose- I would not say be worshipping the video or picture or mind if it was destroyed. It is not an icon. So if you are teaching children in Sunday School- not using visual pictures would limit their ability to learn and comprehend.
Do you think in any way these videos with imagery depicting Christ violate the 2nd Commandment? I wondered and felt it may be worth exploring in prayer and asking others. I ask with all due respect, sister, for your careful opinion.
part 1 - Well I cannot answer for anyone but myself in honesty before the Lord. Obviously no-one knows what the Lord looked like. the commandment was not to make a graven image to which one might fall down in worship - as for example the Romans wouls have done.
Very powerful... what a superb album; I still rate it as one of the most powerful and anointed gospel album every produced.
