An amazing, touching, incredible film best ever disney movie, i was 9 when this came out now 26 but the film never gets old, every time i watch it its like watching it for the first time all over agen, although we get older were still big kids inside hanging onto those precious memories from our childhoods and The Lion King will live on in every single one of us who watched this as a child for the rest of our lifes and what a song to go with it awesome well done duel Long Live The Lion King
I was taken from my mom and placed in foster care, i never got to enjoy my childhood. my favorite disney movie was the lion king. live on lion king, live on!!
Do you remember wanting to run through the plains of Africa with Simba? Swing through the jungle with Tarzan? Go to the enchanted castle with Belle? Go to the ball with Cinderella? Ride a magic carpet with Aladdin? Save China with Mulan?Shrink to toy size to play with Buzz and Woody? Turn into mer-people and go under the sea with Ariel?
If you do or want Disney to bring back movies like this re-post this comment maybe the Disney Corporation will see it and get their heads on straigh
i didnt cry when i used to watch it. the reason i cry now, is because this reminds me of my childhood and how i miss it so much. there was nothing like watching disney movies sitting two feet from the tv indian style the whole day.. now that i got, taxes, bills, a 9-5 job, and responsibility i wish i cherished it more. dont get me wrong im happy in life now. but you really need to cherish your childhood, because as pathetic as it sounds.. ages 3-10 were some of the best years.. now i feel better
i love it it reminds me of when i was a little girl watch it i watched this movie so many time i remember the word to everything :) thx for makig the video
@uri643 How very civilized. (That's sarcasm, by the way.)
And I must disagree. If you knew the background of the Chronicles of Narnia and the man who wrote them, you would know that Aslan is, quite literally, God.
And I'll tell you this: Mufasa would be far more respectful of Him than you are, and would probably give you a faceful of growl for your words.
@elektraeriseros So you're saying you don't think Qui-Gon Jinn could beat Darth Vader? ;-)
As for Aslan portrayers, try listening to Stephen Thorne as Aslan in the BBC "Chronicles of Narnia" radio series and the animated "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," and see what you think.
For everyone who truely loves the Lion King knows how it feels to lose something special and sometimes we try to run away and other times we have to stay and be strong.
@Simbake1000 People should come up with a petition to bring back the original Disney work! It's just not the same with this lazy 3D crap... >:| (Pardon my language)

bro when i was a kid i watched this movie over 9 million times and i always cried this movie means the world to me and its the most amazing movie of all time
my son is the greatest gift I ever had, and this song brings tears to my eyes, tears of joy, hope I am a better now after he came into my life...THANKS GOD for giving the chance to see the life rise by my side...thanks for all the things to come

Wow what a perfect match this movie and this song. Doesn't get much more perfect! It made me cry! : ) I love this movie so much it's one of my favorites! Not just one of my favorite Dinsey movie but one of my fav movies in general.
This film truly is a masterpiece, it makes you feel what you are watching. There isn't good stuff like this anymore. And, DuelSmg, you really matched it well, adds to the memories.
@egniman hey dude i seen ur comment on that lion king video and seriously you are right good job son :D:D:D: may god bless you and one day you reach paradise xx
As a white East African, I just love this movie. Reminds me so much of how I saw things in Africa as a kid. Like someone's re-created the lens through which I looked long ago. My ayah's stories of animals...... My dad died of malaria when I was 3.
Man , I rember that when i was 3 years old or 4 i dont realy rember , i saw that movie and at the scence of the lion father falling , i was crying so hard =[
ilove this song :) this song is for my new babyboy born on july 20th :) i am a young teen mom but iwill show my son everything with arms wide open <33 mommy loves u jayden.
Aw this was my favourite movie as a kid! haha My guardian told me recently that she cried every time I watched it....which was like EVERY day...I dont remember that but I must have thought she was a little crazy XD
I heard many times this song thinking about the time I was going to have my first kid, well today my wife told me that I´m going to be a father, right now I´m going through all those things this guys are singing here, if feels weird and wonderfull at the same thing and yes I don´t know if I´m ready to be the man I have to be and no, I don´t want my child to be like me, all I can is that I´m waiting for him/her with my arms wide open...
That was perfect. I watch a lot of AMVs, and the best go in my AMV playlist here. And, I must thank you. I've listened to that song for years and never realized it was about a child. Of course, now I feel a little foolish; it's so obvious. Anyway, great job, I really loved it.
This song means the world to me, and putting it over the Lion King makes it even better because I'm dying. Thank you so so much for making this video, it is my favorite song posted over one of the most touching Disney movies ever made. I'm 14 and dying and this is the only thing that has made me smile in a long time.
When my sister was young, I would sing songs like these (With Arms Wide Open) to her, to cheer her up or to help her to understand something. She used to ask me sing her songs from The Lion King and other songs she liked. Disney feels special for both of us now, just because of when I sung to her. Now she sings all the time.
This video is so moving. You did a beautiful job making the video with the song choice and the editing. No matter how many times I have seen this movie I still always cry when Mufasa dies
Hmph My childhood lives in this movie. Now days Disney is fallen apart. Disney isn't great on t.v now days. I want old Disney back :( i miss is soo much. Anyone agree with me?
@extinctoxd, I´m spanish and I agree with you absolutely, the old disney was fantastic, maravillous, but the disney that there is today is a shit, I grew up with the good disney movies, when they are incredible : )
@extinctoxd I'm with you,,,I'm in my 50s,, and when the Lion Kng came out My kids were 6, 4, and 2,, and they didn't realize it, ,but I was watching Lion King for myself,,,and them too,, but, mostly for me ! No regrets,, we all benefited. :)
@extinctoxd i COMPLETLEY agree with yours statement. whatever happened to cinderella and snow white and dumbo, seriously, those were the days. Disney needs to get it together!
@extinctoxd hell yeah i agree with you.....what happen to all the mickey and goofy cartoons, now its adults playing children in shows, wtf is hannah montana and that stupid high school musical shit
@misterblooper find a fact dummy hannah montana's characters are all the right age and as far as i know high school musical isnt too off base. It was channing tatum as 20 year old in SHe's All That so...
what's wierd about this video is that the lyrics is depicted so well by Scott of creed. It was almost like Scott, being a Leo himself, watched Lion King and narrated it in his own rendition. Very harmonious combination.
How the fuck did I get here?

@uri643 The fact is that Aslan, in the context of the Chronicles, is God, and that Mufasa would worship Him.
How do you figure "gay?"
And let's see Mufasa bring an entire universe into being.

what's wierd about this video is that the lyrics is depicted so well by Scott of creed. It was almost like Scott, being a Leo himself, watched Lion King and narrated it in his own rendition. Very harmonious combination.

Mufasa seriously reminds me of my dad. <3 The strength, determination, and fearlessness. :)
