u act like the 2door was inferier ive seen all these vid and u have only strenghtend my argument that 4 door jeeps r the worst thing to ever happen to jeep u might as well have a faggot ass hummer u can jack up a tahoo but that dosnt make it any better ther 2 long heavy and cost is way 2 impractical dont care how much money i have i would NEVER own a 4 door wrangler its a jeep thing dont think yall no what the thing is.
@jrrdking The 4 doors arent superior to the 2 doors they just have some things that make off roading better. Such as the longer wheelbase and weight can give some better grip. But that comes with the sacrifice of maneuverability. Thats where the 2 doors are better. All it is is a matter of preference. I personally prefer the 4 door
@thelaxer1031@jrrdking its wheelbase has little to do with this... both the four doors if you look have larger lifts and tires, one a 4-6" straight lift on 35's, the next silver has a 4-6" long arm hard to tell exactly, on 37's or bigger... watch my JK with a 6" long arm kit 37's and both lockers, ill walk right past the 4 doors... the 2 door if you look has a moderate maybe even budget lift of 2.5-3.5" just to clear the baby 33's she has...
@TalleyDallasTX none of the 4-doors are running 6" of lift and only a few are running long arms. yes, they are running 37's or 40's but, the burgandy 2-door is running long arms with 38's and lockers front and rear. the green 2-door is running 4" of lift, big 35" toyo's and lockers front and rear. i own both a 4-door and a 2-door JK and have wheeled a built up TJ for a long time - the 4-door is what i prefer.
@jrrdking 4 door is better didnt u watch the video the 2 door needed help going down some hills and it was harder for it to get up that slick hill also the 2 door has a smaller weel base that the 4 door therefore it makes it easer for it to roll over
@1996dudeo@jrrdking invalid argument, its wheelbase has little to do with this... both the four doors if you look have larger lifts and tires, one a 4-6" straight lift on 35's, the next silver has a 4-6" long arm hard to tell exactly, on 37's or bigger... watch my JK with a 6" long arm kit 37's and both lockers, ill walk right past the 4 doors... the 2 door if you look has a moderate maybe even budget lift of 2.5-3.5" just to clear the baby 33's she has...
Beautiful job on these videos. Truly. One of these days, when things get better, I hope to have a JK to build on. Retire my old YJ and join you guys on the rocks. Cheers.
i had a lifted 00 tj that i got rid of because i thought gas mileage was more important. tomorrow one year and 1 month later im going to buy my 2012 JKU. all i can say is that i should have got it in the first place
@Zornus actually, it's probably a good thing you waited. the 2012's are so much nicer than the 07-11. trust me, i own both and so wish the 3.6L in the 2012 were in my 07
when do you guys do this run one day when i get my xj done i would like to join you on this run if you dont mind a xj jeep in your crew all the jeeps you got in your caravan are either jks or wranglers?? if you dont mind me joining you guys i would also like to join you guys one day when you do the "RUBICON" trail it has been now (scence i seen your vids on both)my personal goal to take my xj on both trails one day and i would love to do it with you guys for help to not roll my baby lol
@wayalife i have a customization question for you guys i put a snorkel on my 1993 xj and am worying about the exaust but dont know how to run it what do you recomend i also plan on putting a long arm lift in the jeep so dont realy want to go over the axle???????
@floridagremlin42069 hard to say for sure without looking at what you have but, you could always just put a tip at the end of the muffler and have it point down. you may need to add an additional exhaust hanger to make it work.
@wayalife one last thing, how do you suppose I could attach a license plate to the LoD bumper? I live in VA so there has to be plates on the front bumper. Is there a way w/o drilling?
@EchoShotz a lot of us attach the plate to the roller fairlead. there are some nice kits out there made by companies like tuffy but, i just made my own using mag light mounting brackets.
Wow. Fantastic videos. Going to Moab has been a dream of mine ever since I've owned a Jeep. Can't wait until I graduate college (next year) and start making some real money to pay for a JK and parts!! Looks like an awesome time.
after watching the whole series all I can say is inspiring. Iv'e got a cj5 that I would love to take to MOAB. Of corse i cant go where you guys did but I'm gonna make the best of it. This is the best videos Iv'e found on YOU TUBE. Simply the best!!!!!
thought seeing the yota trucks was kind of funny. how did they perform compared to everyone of your awesome rigs? Any of them have solid axle swaps? Couldnt imagine doing most that stuff with IFS
Just finished the series! Subscribed! I spent 45 minutes earlier looking for some decent offroad videos with great editing, fun and awesome rigs. Most of them had one but not all. Your videos struck every one of those keys! I love your videos! And by the way this MOAB series has some of the best songs in any video I have watched! I loved every single song and knew them all!
Hey guys, first off AWESOME VIDEO/SERIES. I have a question though referring a part on one of the jeeps. At 10:03, the green 4dr JK, what is the part that comes out of the hitch that protects the spare tire? Is that an mass produced part or did he FAB it up. If you could let me know that would be great. That is one thing i worry about is catching the tire and screwing up my back door like that guy in a previous episodes. I know i prolly won't here back, but if i get a reply. THANKS! *AJK
Some day before I WILL make my homage to the Moab. I have one friend who shares my passion for jeeps an he is the only person out of my close friends who understands what it means to take the journey. Its a life long dream an will be fulfilled some day. I hope to see you all out there some day in my XJ :)
I truly enjoyed your video and I'm utterly impressed with the imaging, editing, narration, and overall production. You both can be so very proud of capturing and expressing a perfect balance of emotional passion and friendship within the rough-and-tumble context of such a heavy metal motor sport. Thank you for sharing your outstanding experience and the investment of your time and talents to provide such a fantastic off-road video escape. Currently stock LJs but dream of joining you some day.
Just watch the whole series and i have to say these are the best videos on youtube hands down!!! absolutley amazing. I would love to go on a ride like this sometime!! thanks for the videos.
Always...... What a great job on capturing Moab!!!!!!!! Thanks for posting these videos and for the hard work to edit them. What fun it is to follow your adventure. Hope to see you back on the trail.
You should contact the producers of the American Top Gear, or even the original Top Gear, and convince them to shoot a segment of offroading with you guys.
Eddie and Cindy, you have outdone yourselves yet again. Your MOAB videos (and your new dusy vid) are my favourite yet. Keep up the excellent work. One of these days I'll make the drive down from Ontario to join you guys.
I just finished all six videos and I have to say they are the most fun I've ever had sitting at a computer. I have a newfound respect for you all and can't wait to find a Jeep to call my own.
A little constructive criticsm: I wished you would have put a picture or clip of each Jeep while the upgrades were rolling up the screen at the end.
What size lift, and size tires do you recommend for a climb like that? i have a 2002 jeep wrangler on 33x12.50 all terrians. i wanna do some sick climbs like the ones in the vid. so what tires size should i go with and which lift
@4X4punisher behind the rocks has a lot of different lines you can take, some easier, some harder and some you can't avoid. personally, i'd want at least 35" tires and lockers to do this trail
Would you mind maybe making a video or message me explaining the programs you use to edit a video like this and how you can shorten clips and transition them together. I have a GoPro camera too but I don't understand how to cut out sections of a recording or put them together. It would be much appreciated, thank you
@UCsig21 you'll forgive me but, it is not us that is preventing the playback on an ipad. a couple of the tracks we used are blocked in germany and therefore, youtube does not allow them to be played on mobile devices. you should take it up with them.
@wayalife question about your music choices; How do you get multiple songs or are you adding them during editing? I'm trying to splice some trail videos together and on YouTube I only get options to select a single song.
Great vids man!!!! i watch all of them and noticed that the Nitto Mud Grapplers slip a lot more then other tires. then the wrangler with kevlar in second and the Toyo MT are the best. Would you say the same, or driver ability and not the tires. i run Toyos open country right now and am looking to change. Thanks Man keep it up.
@Wravyn8 i've done it and can tell you that it'll do just fine. the shorter wheelbase will make things harder to do but, for the most part, you'd be fine.
Absolutely awesome.... You really have done justice not just to every JEEP lover in the world but also the great adventurer in each and every one of us.
If there is ever a spare seat on one of your adventures let me know, its only a 16hr flight from Australia!!! Thanks for the motivation...
Is that Cindy driving White Knuckle? She's a damn good driver, and editor. I found you guys on FB not long ago with your Rubicon film. I spent all night watching it over and over again, now seen almost every video. I have a stock TJ and live near some BLM land in Sparks,NV (next door to Reno). I take my 4.5 year old in the hills sometimes and he LOVES it. Your videos have me counting the days until my wife's car is paid off. Guess what I'm gonna do. Thanks for the daily dose of awesome!
@Spack005 LOL!! thank you and yeah, it was her turn to do moab and so most of the driving you see is done by her in this series. as far as your next vehicle goes - i can only imagine ;)
This series was awsome. I cant wait until you guys do more videos. Because of the big advantage I see with the longer Jk wheelbase I may have to stretch my TJ now.
What an awesome video! I watched the whole series and I gotta say that these are some of the best Jeep videos I;ve seen in a long time. I would love to wheel with you guys some day! Cheers
you should get in-board cams for the jeeps... it would be epic for places like the 10-foot wall!! but its impossible! Your video would be more epic than the epiciest vid on YT...
i love these videos! I enlisted in the navy back in November and i leave for basic tomorrow and i was so worried i wouldn't get to see the last part this video! If i get stationed out west i really go to moab with you guys!
Amazing. That was an excellent ending to the collection. The fades at the end were well done, meaningful shots in mind with the words. Top Notch! :) Can't wait to see whats next.
WOW! Just finished watching the last video and all I can say is you guys look like you had the time of your life! Thanks so much for taking the time to document it all and share with all of us!! Great times with good friends, what more could you ask for.
This whole series made me happy to be a JK owner. May not have all the upgraded gear, but still an awesome machine! Thanks for the vids and keep them coming.
@mooselove13 no thank you and i really want to legitimently go on a trail run with you guys i live up in nor cal area about 1:30 min from the Rubicon trail
I seriously can't put into words how impressed I am with the production and how motivating watching you guys wheel has been. I've been looking forward to Sunday for the past month!! I've wanted a Jeep since childhood and I'm positive this series has given the boost to pull the trigger. Thanks again for all your hard work!! -- Worm

Absolutely awesome.... You really have done justice not just to every JEEP lover in the world but also the great adventurer in each and every one of us.
If there is ever a spare seat on one of your adventures let me know, its only a 16hr flight from Australia!!! Thanks for the motivation...
TommiTurtle 10 months ago
@TommiTurtle LOL!! if you're willing to make the flight, i'm sure we could find someone in our group with an open seat ;)

Spack005 10 months ago
@Spack005 LOL!! thank you and yeah, it was her turn to do moab and so most of the driving you see is done by her in this series. as far as your next vehicle goes - i can only imagine ;)

This series was awsome. I cant wait until you guys do more videos. Because of the big advantage I see with the longer Jk wheelbase I may have to stretch my TJ now.

@hockeymonkey8424 oh yeah, stretched TJ's are pretty bad ass.

you should get in-board cams for the jeeps... it would be epic for places like the 10-foot wall!! but its impossible! Your video would be more epic than the epiciest vid on YT...
