no, it's just a pet store laser pointer with the button taped down. we were goofing around late at night with an android app that turned the camera on an android phone into a sniper scope and this was a "logical" progression.

I could not see from the picture, but do you deactivate the laser when the picture is taken or is the red dot visible in the final picture?
