To me, Fable II was not a proper sequal to Fable I. It wasn't a bad game but it wasn't a good sequal. Fable III was a beutiful sequal to Fable II. However Fable I still needs a perfect sequal. So I would take out the modern, dark, and new revoloution vibe. I would just make it alot like Fable I with a new story.

And to think, I was impressed by the voice cast of Fable 2 - I'm sorry, but this one puts it to shame! I prefer the interactivity of a game, but a Fable movie would be amazing, as it would reach out to a wider audience and show the world the genius of Albion and it's people! I say this because so many people I know wouldn't touch a games console with a 10 ft pole, but would love something like the story I just played through with Fable 3 (I loved it SO MUCH)

The protagonist is essentially the player or the viewer, so that'd be difficult to capture on screen.
