the weight was made of light plastic or foam and i noticed that we cannot see the top of the shed which means that there was most likely a person that was on top holding fishing line or invisable thread or some other type of thin string or tread attached to the "weight" and he was manuvering the "weight" and the kid was simply doing a show...

Illusions are a bit different than magic tricks. And yes, magnets can indeed hold, literally, tonnes of weights. They can not, however, create a field to make a metal object float unless you physically surround the object from at least 6 sides (x,y,z axis points). Not to mention the fact that the "floating" object would then have to be magnetized to an opposite polarity than the magnets holding the object. Think physics and science before you assume it has to be a magnet. Nice illusion btw.

Actually with one little interesting thing you can actually do that with magnet. But it needs expensive stuff. So it can be done by that, but in this case, no magnets in this video were used. Just search "super conductor" and check that almost 2min video. There is just little stuff... But this would need bigger...
