As I was watching this video, halfway through I made a list of people that I would hurt if I killed myself (mainly just family and very close friends) and its alot. Sorry for your loss Ricky.
And they also have to change everything they do from that point on. What happens to u effects everyone. Isn't that crazy? Isn't that amazingly crazy? Are you thinking now? Are u selfish? Would u change the lives of everyone you love and that love you for the worse because you don't want to talk to someone? Please think. Before you decide.
Be honest, tell them your feelings, ur thoughts, ur pains. It helps, it really does. And it hurts everyone around you if you don't. Then they lose a family member, a friend, a co-worker, a love.
Your thinking," huh, I don't have any friends that would do that, or I don't have any friends" Your wrong. You'd be surprised who would take time to talk to you. You'd be surprised who is having some of the same thoughts about their situation, or who has been through it.
Because they care about them, and they cared about you. These are the same people that you could call right now, and tell them that you need someone to talk to, and they'd drop what they're doing to make time for you. I know, I know.
But try to think. What will happen tomorrow? If u take your life today... what will happen tomorrow? I'll tell you.Your' friends and family will call up everyone and cancel their plans for a while. They'll cry and try to tell the people on the other end of the phone why they are crying, but will not be able to explain it to them in enough words. Those people will rush over to confort them. WHY?
Please listen to this message in this Video if u are one of these people. You feel alone, u feel hurt, u don't think there is anyone who can possibly understand "your" situation. I do, and so do others.
I am sorry for the lose of your friend, I do hope people that watch the Video know what to look for in others when they have a friend crying out for help with out asking, Suicide is a VERY hard thing to deal with, Found my Step dad when I was 19 and miss him every day that was 21 yrs ago still hurts to this day. okay, wow, this really made me want to cry. That is really sad. It's terrible, how life is extinguished like that. those of us who want to help feel like we're scrambling for them but we can't reach them in time and then it's to late. :'(

This isnt spose to make you hurt it's spose to make you think, I tried to commet suicied and right before i was about to put my life on the line i thought about my little brother and where he would go with out me. Just because you hurt doesnt meen to give up. You have to keep trying.
This is such a powerful and beautiful video, in the past year i've lost 3 people i know, but you have to learn to be strong and live life and be happy, because that's how they would've wanted you to be, nomatter how hard it is.
Depression & suicide is a terrible thing, i've been their, but i've got through it, this video is amazing and makes people realise how important their lives are.
Losing somebody is an extremely difficult thing and can put a lot of depression and put weights on peoples lives and I understand as well as I'm sure many other people do. I didn't know Alex or his friends or family but i just want to say I'm feeling for you all.
I can only imagine what you must be going through right now... I was really touched by your video and I know for sure that this will be a video that will save lives one day.
