I've always wondered why they made such a scary boss like Majora cluck and dance. I mean, you really get into the true evilness of Majora when the mask comes to life, and then you get this clucking, moonwalking, cossack dancing abomination and it ruins the whole atmosphere.

The transformation scenes when you put on the masks terrified me as a kid. The screaming and writhing... I always skipped them for the sake of my sanity.

@ferretyluv His clucking and dancing represents the Mask's insanity and its chaos. To anyone else, this battle is a serious one where you must win, or the entire world will be destroyed. To Majora, he finds this battle fun and his dancing and gibbering words are taunts and he merely finds you pathetic and weak. To him, destroying the world is merely child's play and a game. He turns wrathful when he realizes you are not there to play.

(fact) The fierce deity mask WAS the tetra force if you use his mask you can see that the upside down GREEN glowing triangle would fit right into the tri force middle so the fierce deity is the 4th god and when majora planned on destroying the world the 3 tri force gods have already given up there physical bodies and so could not defeat majora in wich the 4th god fierce deity took there place to defeat majora.

Give up all but your transformation masks to them (you'll get them back if you go through time) and finish their micro-dungeons. After you beat the four of them, go to the kid wearing Majora's Mask. He'll notice you don't have any masks. He'll then give you the Fierce Deity mask.

...kinda crazy that he'd give you the weapon of his demise, no?

@matiasmgm Not many ppl know it but Majora's Mask illustrates the 5 stages of grief. Think about it, there are 5 big zones in the game: Clocktown, Southern Swamp, Snowhead, Great Bay, Ikana Canyon. DENIAL: Everyone in Clocktown denies that the moon will fall. ANGER: The Deku King and everyone are angry at the monkey. BARGAINING: Gorons plead you to help. DEPRESSION: Zoras are sad cuz Lulu's eggs are gone, Mikau gone. ACCEPTANCE: Ikana King accepts he is dead. Like this so ppl know

While playing Majora's Mask, I really missed not being able to be Adult Link like I could in Ocarina of Time. It was nice that they added this super-powerful mask complete with all the vocal grunts of adult Link and a sword similar to the biggoron's sword in Ocarina of Time.
