I like your analysis, however, we are really REALLY in a recession. It isn't just the democrats that are saying it, it is financial analysts, banks, federal reserve chairman. You can't ignore fundamental changes in the economy and say it is just any type of correction.

The current economy does suck...but it STILL doesn't make it a "Recession" by definition! The best question is who is to blame? I will give you a hint....a female became Speaker of the House! As all Americans should understand, Congress controlls the Economy....not the President!

I'm a huge fan of yours Bob, but you got this one wrong. After the major recession of the 70's economist have "tweaked" the way we measure a recession. My favorite is "substitution" replace the price a rib eye with ground beef. The current rise in inflation is 4%. That's absurd the rising cost of gas and food has caused my personal budget to go up over  7%.

By the way, love the Rick Roll'd. If you didn't have your bug I would've left.

Again, right on the money Bob. When I'm thinking about spending 30 dollars less this summer on a gas tax paid to the government. I don't ever remember wanting to pay them any more money unless I had to. Who cares and if you feel like sending a check for 30 buck's back to them -- feel free, they'll cash it.
