They all sang and rap about the same thing, women, money, the good life. Albeit classic rock is a bit more melodic and refined it was still about the same things that are in a Lil Wayne song today. If your lyrics are true to you and meaningful it shouldnt matter how long it takes to write them, especially if you are inspired then the words should pour out.

@Youareallworthless yes, they do talk about the same subject matters, but the way they write lyrics, and the poetry of rock lyrics, especially from the 60's and early 70s is soooooo much more insightful and meaningful than that of modern rap artists. Plus, most modern rappers rely on cussing and totally overusing "shit" "motherfucker" and "bitch" among many others just to make ryhmes. That's what i really dislike.
