Grand Hotel San Michel is a nice hotel I've stayed in a few times and isn't anywhere near as back-breakingly exspensive as those shown here. Plus it's within walking distance to loads of places and the metro is nice and close for those further out places.

u can see some mouse in the track of the metro but u will never see a rat they are in the underground

and yes some district of paris are a bit dirty

the 18 and the 19 district (in paris we call that arrondissements)
