He also shows a willingness to listen to other arguments He called up a professor from the University of Chicago who believed Bush's wiretaps could be legal and had a deep discussion about the pros and cons and the potential ramifications. Obama will be a good president first because he is smart. President of the Harvard Law Review, a very prestigious position. He also shows a willingness to listen to other arguments He called up a professor from the University of Chicago who believed Bush's wiretaps could be legal and had a deep discussion about the pros and cons and the potential ramifications. You can also look at his campaign which is leading in number of states, number of delegates and number of votes against the Clintons.

No, I would vote for Obama if no one was voting for him, he inspired me, but that was only the first step. I not only looked at his positions on the issues but looked at why he took those positions, whether he was just following an ideology or had his own arguments backed up by logic and reason. I looked at his position on the Iraq war and saw that he was right not because he hates war but because he saw that Saddam was contained and war would take away resources from Afghanistan.
