@policestory Just looked up Golden Lights after reading your comment. I wish I hadn't! I remember hearing that as a teen but I'd blocked out the memory until now. What a horrific piece of shit that song is. I still can't believe my beloved Smiths were capable of such an atrocity. Why, God why?!

It's not one of their best songs, admittedly, but even a 'bad' Smiths song is still better than 'good' songs by most bands, in my opinion. i still reli like it :)

I think the tempo of this is a little too upbeat to sound by The Smiths. Listen to this then listen to 'Suffer Little Children', they're complete opposites!

It's waaaay over-produced, they should of binned this one and put "You just haven't earned it yet baby" in it's place on the LP.
