@down3rc0w69 buddy you started this so im gonna fuckin end it... its not people like me...its fuckin assholes like you that have nothing better to do than to sit home and complain about peoples comments...i only commented because im a ford guy and when i saw that the dodge wouldnt start i commented as a joke...you took it to a whole other level of stupidty...grow to fuck up...and shut your fuckin mouth.
i dont know whats wrong with it. that information was given to me by some guy who claimed to be a master mechanic, turns out he just drove a parts truck for some autoparts store
@marshall0792 Had the same problem with my JGC (got the same engine) and it was due to fucked up fuel pump and dirty fuel filter. I've replaced the pump, filter and cleaned up the fuel strainer in the gas tank. Now it starts perfectly.
yep, thats exactly what the problem was, but that was 2 years ago. now the truck is completely different, i had the engine rebuilt and tune to 325 rwhp and 350 trq
nice truck, iv been looking into getin a 98 dodge ram w/ 5.2l
but idk why no one on u-tube really shows off an exhaust, stock or not...i mean let it all out not just lil revs ya know, go check out me in my aunts POS f150
the 5.9(360) is sweet but unless you need to tow 10,000 pounds why throw away money on an engine that gets 10 miles per gallon with the way gas is these days?
exactly dude. The 5.2 318 is a good respectable V8 motor with some kick, and is way better on gas than the 5.9. Had a 5.9 and the gas mileage was like between 12 and 16, was horible
damn my 5.2 gets like 13 too. i found this Lucus octane booster thing an its not street legal but gets a done better gas mileage and horsepower and my 5.2 will tow 10,000 lbs easy
I just heard a new joke for us dodge people from a chevy guy. Dodge needs to start putting roller bearings on the hoods of the trucks so the hinges don't wear out as fast.
My 96 dodge ram with the 360 does the same thing.

id say go get a tool to check the pressure and see, thats if the parts store near you has one or you might be able to have the store check it

i do bout 12, i had to add 2100 in parts just to get up tp 16 17 mpg in my 5.2 dakota
camwillis44 2 years ago
Dad gets 12-14 with a 5.9, my 5.2 gets the same and it's on a lighter truck, so I get alot more pickup out of it.
