3d is nothing but a fucken illusion and the the best is the real world. why in the world would I pay extra money to see fake life when real life is for free.
It is as much of an illusion as your own eyesight. Whether observed directly or via digital means, your eyes capture separate images whilst the brain compiles them into product which contains depth. The only difference being the origin of the imagery.
The day in the distant future a TV can do head tracking stereoscopic 3D for multiple viewers and beam the left/right video precisely to your eyes while still preserving an excellent 2D picture quality is the day we can start talking about glass-free 3D TV in the living room.
Until then autosterescopic fixed viewing angle 3D can be great for single-user small screens in mobile phones, 3D cameras, tablets and computer monitors.
The TV industry is confusing their own consumers on 3D.
I wonder..., if one shoot videos of all the gals in the street with skirt and miniskirt and look at the footage on a 3d tv..., would one be able to drop to the floor beneath the telly, look up and see whatever is under the skirts?
i dont think these will catch on :( they will be to expensive and also the videos they play are designed for those tvs, i really dont think alot of channels will change theer viewing for this. So it will come down to a mass heavy monthly payment to watch channels for 3d. Example - Sky 3d £60 a month...........thats coming out soon.

Im in school for game design and we have been talking about this 3D technology a lot, in fact our animation teacher did an animation test for this TV!! it's is expected to be out to the public in about 1 -2 years! it is really cool it is also gonna be replacing ads in billboards and stuff withing the next few year then computers! then who know what next lol... And the reason you can't see the 3D on the video camera is because it can only film 2D, it's not able to processes a 3D image...
problem with samsung 3d glasses is 1 pear cost 260 CD and if you have 6 familly members and then your other family comes over thats like buying brand new 40" HD tv
3D TVs are retarded and plus unless the whole image is gonna pop out at you there is no point to it.And if you all have not noticed this is the rebirth of a scheme brought on earth by Nintendo and Philips in order to make everyone buy the video game and tv(i see right through the lies) COPY AND PASTE IF HATE THE NEW YOUTUBE!*
If the whole image was to come out of the TV then it would be basically the 2D image projected toward you, not very 3D... what they do is separate it by layers the background stays in a 2D form with a bit of popping, then the middle which come out from the TV and then the front which are things that are closest to the camera which project the closest to you.. that's how you get the 3D effect... Plus this kind iof technology and video game are the future... there's no stopping it
ok guys personally who cares if you gotta wear the glasses i mean we all wear glasses weather its reading or sun glasses it doesnt make a difference. plus your in the privacy of ur home so its not like no ones gonna give a damn.
yeah, but @ over $100 per pair. If you want to have Super bowl party or some event and big crowds needs to view the TV screen this would definitely be cheaper and more convenient
The company that makes this display is called "Alioscopy" -- it's a French company, but has offices in San Diego and Singapore. The term is called "Auto-stereoscopic" i.e. stereoscopic with out need for 3D Glasses. The LCD has a lenticular lens on top of it, that re-interpolates the multi-view images that are playing back on the display. To learn more about Alioscopy - go to: alioscopyusa com -
How is that even possible without the use of mirrors etc. either way ill stick with the glasses if it would mean it was cheaper when this shit gets released all they would have to do is make a pair of Gargoyles and ill be hater blockin while watchin my show.
i still like the glasses tv like we have 3d tv with glasses is best and the one like this one will hurt your eyes like the 3ds

who felt stupid watching this over and over again crossing their eyes just to get the 3d effect? ???
me
EjCab7 1 year ago
really it does show 3d when you cross your eyes!
Go full screen, then cross your eyes so you see 6 screens in stead of 4 and then focus on the middle one, try to make it sharp.
It does hurt your eyes after a some time, but the effect is amazing!

It's stereoscopic. You can cross your eyes to see the effect. Make the left and right images meet in the middle.
I'm sure this could fuck with your eyes over long periods of time.

Why don't these morons pan the camera around so that we can actually see some of the 3D effect?
kato3d 2 years ago
because the effect does not work that way?
24065894 2 years ago
because that wont work you moron, it has to do with how the brain interpreters the images put on each other, you have to be there
o ya, and you have to have a brain, which you obviously lack
