  • She found a dead buckingham palace!

  • Are the local headline feeds' transmissions controlled by the regional stations themselves or the regions just send it to the ITV Playout Center (just like what they do in GMTV)?

  • Now everything is sent to ITV's Playout Centre's, in either London for the southern regions or Leeds for the Northern Regions, and put to air there. Therefore, in general, if there is an opting problem on one region, normally the other regions from the same playout centre also suffer, as seen when ITV1 accidentally played an ad break over the footy goal on all the southern regions. Channel, STV and UTV playout everything themselves.

  • ITV is all computerised nowadays. If the local feed is too early or late, chop National will take over!

  • omg that sounded funny when it cuts back to itv news:

"and a woman from mitlon keeynes has found a dead ing at buckingham palace" lol xD

  • The same happened to ITV Tyne Tees (North East Tonight - North edition) it had that rotating clockface at the start like this, but the presenter realised quicklier than Anglia she was on air and managed to get the 2 headlines out, just caught the end of the headline bumper at the end (which was static).
