There will be a favourites tab in the widow of the server list with all your favourite servers from every game. You may want to filter your search in here by selecting "Team Fortress 2" just so you dont get all the other games servers while you're there.

If you guys notice in the text code when you launch this, it says the server is unsecured and only 0/2 people can join the game. Your items will get stolen in your inventory so don't try this!

@JSasRays Well you could leave it running over night so that's a period of like 8 to 12 hours. You should do it like once in two weeks to get a lot of items. To find out what you got, go into TF2 and they will alert you of your new items via a message on the home screen.

Alright guys listen up. After you clear everything and you want to run TF2, you will notice that it isn't full-screen. To fix this, simply go to "Options" Then "Video" Then select "Display mode" and select "Full Screen" Do this and your game will go back to full-screen. Easy!

@RetardedFanboys @RetardedFanboys It works yes. achievement_idle servers are servers made by other people for idling, basically you can idle on pretty much any server. The server you are making uses the map "itemtest" which is basically a small enclosed map where you can spawn and well, test items. All you have to do is launch TF2 and the black box will pop up, give it a minute and at the end it should say your your steam name "connected." Also yes I can confirm this works.

Not sure if it actually counts for you idleing if using this puts you in itemtest because ideling is supposed to make the game think your actually playing and putting time in and gives you items for it but im not so sure hanging around itemtest counts for ideling

@RetardedFanboys Yes you can actually idle with this method because itemtest is merely the name of the map and the game DOES think you're playing with this method. Worked for me today. Like I said itemtest is just the name of the map, it can be replaced with anything really, pl_badwater, ctf_2fort ect. Just use this method, let it sit overnight, or when you're out and about, then when you're ready to retrieve your items, close the black box, erase the text in set launch options and start game.

@jamesroot9777 oh i could answer this!! sorry if its not shibby thats not answering, but the item drop systems is created to calculate the average time the players play TF2 and use that average number of hours to set the amount of time the players can play and get items. so for example: maybe the average time is 11 hours, this always reset at certain point during the week, so basically you can play 11 hours of TF2 after it resets the time to get items. after the 11 hours you will run out of time

shibby i found a way to see if u got new item,i just go to tf2b.com and type my user name after that it will load my backpack. when i am in middle of idleing i can simply reload the page to see if i got any new stuff. :D thump up if works for u and let other people see this and help out other new players.

Shibs, I have found a way to see what new items you get without stopping idling. In top of the Steam window press the envelope and then the first line from the top. Now you can follow your item progress when you're idling. Thumps up so Shibby can see.
