Audi seems to be the cheapshot Marie Antoinette of auto makers to the working class: "Let them eat dust!"
It's really too bad Audi didn't take the golden opportunity to support those who are doing their part and instead shame a segment of the population with an overinflated sense of self-importance similar to Audi's: drivers of gas-guzzling SUVs.
I'm surprised the point is being missed. Audi isn't saying it's better than taking alternative transport, just that you can do your part and have a good time doing it. I ride my bike to work everyday, and sometimes it friggin blows.
Sorry bsides, but that's totally what Audi is saying: Audi's rule, alt-commuting drools.
What you're not seeing is that Audi missed the opportunity to make its point at the expense of a more-valid group: those who aren't doing their part. Picking on alt-commuters is cheap and easy. I, too, bike to/from work everyday -- 30 miles roundtrip across Los Angeles, one of the least bike-friendly city's in US -- and sure it isn't ideal some days, but it works for me. Far better than an Audi ever will.
Silly commercial for silly people. Have your cake and eat it too, til we're all underwater. Where I live, I could dust whatever tosser is driving this audi on my commute, hands down, on my bike. Audi owners = worst drivers ever.
the truth is Audi driving loser. If I'm riding in the rain, i'm choosing to. It's a part of life. it's usually no problem or sometimes a challenge, because of self obsessed motorists, oblivious to the traffic they're cutting off, instead of sharing the road with.
You might speed by me, but you still have to stop at the same light... where I pass you anyway....
You're still wasting gas and energy and that means you're weakening our national security, so keep driving fast, Audi Ben Laden
Oh, shuttup Audi! Shouldn't you be comparing yourself to a Prius or something? A bicycle? A person taking public transportation? Really? Pick on someone your own size.
