    illusio

PS: I like your opening better - LOL

  • Well Done! Great song!

  • how do u know these guys, very few people do?

  • excellent tribute

  • Awesome!!!! Memories!!! Thanks!

  • WOW! Great job. Thank you for posting this. This takes me back to my youth in the '70s when the first 2 Angel albums were required listening in my friends garage. Thanks to Youtube and users like you, Angel will never be forgotten.

  • Superb...but now ..it's time for 3ft long blonde hair!!!! And a keyboard on a guitar strap!!! Seriously though..From London (England) Great job!!!

  • Thanx! growing the hair and stuff takes time, working on it :)). Our guitarplayer of our virtual band "Virtuallyrush" is, as we speak, working on his Punky Meadows image! :))

  • To Hub Andre : God Bless You for this tribute to ANGEL. I saw them headline in Boston, MA. and they were one of my favorite bands and stiil are. The most bizarre live show that I ever saw (I mean that in a fantastic way). Keep up the spirit of these guys. I think that todays youth could really use an eye opener such as these guys.

  • Thanks very much! I agree. Check out also my Virtuallyrush project with guitarplayer Snowdoguk (coinsidence?)

  • Hi Petethesnowdog,

Look at my Angel - Fortune cover and guess who made a comment.....:)

  • Hi Petethesnowdog,

Look at my Angel - Fortune cover and guess who made a comment.....:)

  • Absolutely fantistic job on the keys, on my absolute favorite tune from Angel. This is classic hard prog rock, from a glam band no less!

    Dude, you ARE Greg Giuffria!

  • Thanx for the nice comment, appreciate it ! :))

  • I salute your attempt, but I would not have recognised the opening if not for the fact you titled the video, it wasn't even close.

  • He kissed61, be a litlle more constructive in your comments next time , and go help me find the Giuffria Moog Synthesizers he used! ;-)

  • I guess you'd rather I not be objective. There is a distinct pattern at the start of Tower, I don't hear it,sorry bud.

  • Don't listen to this guy, HubAndre, you freaking nailed it in my book! Cheers!

  • Chingoncisima!

    Con todo!

Estos cabrones si que tocaban como se debe!

    HubAndre te pasaste de lanza!!!

    Bravo! tecladista!!

  • once again good stuff,i seen them back in the 70s,it took them half the show to get out of there pods, lol, but it was a good show, didnt think anyone remembered them.

  • From Venezuela, thanks for the Video, a very good tribute for a super band. Angel stills Rocks !!!

  • Gre Giuffra was a huge talent. House of Lords probably saw him in the most fame. How I miss the real Moog, though. No better Analog for leads that he did. YOu got his duel with Punky on Live without a net?

  • Angel rocked, glad to see someone respects them.

  • Fantastic

  • This is too frickin' funny! I never thought I would uncover a youtube clip of someone actually performing an Angel cover song. I mean, what gives, he? Since Angel was relegated to a pretty boy C-rated rock group from the 1970s, finding someone with enough guts to post a cover song...amazing! Great job by the way. Echt te gek en het klinkt goed !

  • Thanks for the nice comment!.....spreek je ook Nederlands??

  • Ja....Ik ben een Amerikaan van Nederlandse afkmost.

  • I saw Slade, Angel, Arrowsmith in Kansas City Missouri, USA in 1975. One of the great Concerts to remember.

  • We need a man in our band like you!!! Could you play in Germany?? :-)

    Great!! Fantasic job!!

  • Thanks for the comment!, can you upload on youtube some stuff of your band?

    Cheers,

    Andre

  • That song is a total jam. The keyboards add that magic to the song and holds it together.

  • They played a great set, even played The Fortune. The Fortune also has Guiffria on complete display. I play the drums and also always liked the drums on this song, esp the intro.

I also saw Angel open for Ted Nugent in Midland Tx, I was like in 6th grade. My uncle took me! Cool uncle huh?

  • Awesome! You lucky man, you saw them live.

I heared from a friend that Angel was in 2004 in the Netherlands in "Zwolle". I did not know that at the time. When you look at all comments on this video you see "Kissvideofan" That's Gordon GG Gebert, the new keyboardplayer of Angel. I am looking for fellow musicians who wants to play this song with me in a cover-band. I am looking for a singer, guitarplayer, bassplayer and also drummer!! Just hop on the plane with your kit and let's play, lol!

  • Cool!... I saw them in Lubbock,Texas... Januaary of '79 Opening up for Uncle Ted... This smart ass kid standing next to me was like... "So who are these pussies ANGEl? I was like... Just wait motha fucka!... I actually went to see ANGEL!... Not to mention Nuge was gonna kick some major ass! Anywayz...halfway through this song... He mouths... "THESE GUYS KICK FUCKIN ASS! Heh..Heh... A moment I shall never forget!
  • Great job man, great job. This was always one of my favorite songs. Esp the version on Live Without a Net. Gregg Guiffria was a great keyboard player and I liked Angel quite a bit. I saw them here in Dallas 2 yrs ago at the Hard Rock with Dimino and Barry Brandt on drums. Stevie Blades played guitar from Lillian Axe.

  • Very good live cover of this song.

    Beautiful job!

  • Thanx for the comment.

    Cheers,

    Andre

  • GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD

  • Danke, I like your classic analogue synthesizer videos as well.

    Andre

  • Nice Job! Wow there are still fans out there! How cool. This is such an amazing album. I have such great memories of hanging out with my friend Angel. His sister bought Helluva Band for him because his name was Angel and he loved them and turned them on to me when I was 14. So Cool. To find stuff on them. I wonder what they're doing these days.

  • Thanks, I agree. As far as I know Frank Dimino and Barry Brandt are still performing, Gregg Giuffria is a businessman in Las Vegas and co-owner of the Biloxy Hard-Rock Hotel.

    Cheers,

    Andre

  • awesome ! i grew up listening to angel loved them.how do u know them ? thanx u tube!

  • My brother had a friend (thanks Hans van Koot) who had a big hard-rock record collection.

I heard Angel probably for the first time when I was 12 (1977).

Awesome, hell of a band (helluvaband!)

  • Great job! I've always loved Angel and was fortunate enough to see them many times. Looking forward to more...thanks!

  • Thanks, do you like UFO (Try me, Love to love) as well? Watch my other videos and I shall upload some more in a while. My goal is to formate a cover symfo-rock band.
