  • to make this comment as generic as possible: 20th century, bitch ;)

  • Dit is echt zo'n top nummer! Volume hoog! En geniet, haha! Dit nummer heb ik zo vaak gehoord, en dat was goed besteedde tijd!!!!

  • Man, this makes me proud to be English!

  • i got here cause this was the number 1 song on my b-day

  • "HIS" name is Paul Rodgers, sang for Bad Company...good tunes. Definetley one of the best rock singers of all time...period.

  • i got here from an old xbox game, big mutha truckers

  • ...but no, seriously. I got here via Supernatural. Best show ever with it's classic-rock-soundtrack-of-awesomeness.

  • We're with the Vipers, asshole!

  • His voice is better than sex.

  • Awesome

  • it's an old one. but i love it

  • Why the band AC / DC copies song the "Highway to Hell" the band Free?

(Sorry, but I can't speak English very well)

    Free - "All Right Now" (1970) vs AC/DC - "Highway to Hell" (1979_ -.-

  • @mizia15sweet Do they?

  • @Anducdc Yes. Listen to the song "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC

  • @mizia15sweet Strange. AC/DC is my favorite band and I never "noticed" that

  • @mizia15sweet I just came here from highway to hell because of the similarity

  • this guy has one of the coolest voices i've ever heard. it took me a long time to figure out that he was only the singer of bad company for a while and then left. their new singer was good but paul has a certain "guttiness" to his voice that makes someone trying to cover him sound like a whimp

  • It ain't easy!! Livin' free!!

    ooops my bad ;D

  • That's all for now, take care and I'll

be back with more in a few days

  • ..that Les Paul guitar riff/groove still sound fresh n' punkish cool over that tight bass n' drum foundation,.. is it just me and subjective familiarity of my life's soundtrack song to think so?..

  • I noticed that it said it was playing a peabody Hotel in Memphis, Sure am glad i live in Tennessee!

  • nnnnnniiiiiiiiiccccceeeeee rock`n` roll!!!!!!:)

  • NEGER IS EEN VUILE TEVE

  • @maximilliaan849 En wat wil je hiermee zeggen?

  • Very nice

  • such a feel good song

  • Just an awesome solo in this song!

  • Great Song :))

  • @psychoclown420 most epic classic rock songs make for good road trip music probably because most of those songs were jammed out during road trips by the bands who wrote them. It's what they did while crammed on those busses while going from performance to performance.

  • I met my gf while this song was playing ^^

  • c était le bon temps du rock n roll le bon temps pas comme aujourd'hui

  • wow my dad has excellent taste in music

  • epic road trip song, just like most good classic rock songs

  • I remember this song from gladiators! ha

Check out this great band too!

THE VINYLS-GET IT OUT OF YOUR HEAD

  • DAMN THIS IS SWEET!

  • this is a great song!

  • :=) Hitler face!

  • I'm ashamed to admit that I was introduced to this classic rock masterpiece by way of a Wrigleys commercial in the early 90s. Sometimes you find gold after digging through shit.

  • In 1970 this song was being played on air somewhere in the world every 45 seconds

    Love live Paul Rodgers

    PARTY ON BITCHES!

  • Go Stanford.

  • You're fucking with the Vipers here arsehole!

  • Even if not the most cleanly executed Guitar solo, it's one of the most iconic rock solos ever played. Everybody that likes rock n roll instantly knows this song and the solo.

  • Thumbs up if you always thought this was "a poor man's Jumpin' Jack Flash."

  • Thumbs up if your tendency is to hate Paul Rogers AND Bad Company because of this song and how it made you feel in a hot car driven by your parent, and you were carsick.

  • American Beauty is a great movie too!!!!

  • Classic riff in the middle-brings great memories!

  • I'm so turned on right now!

  • What a tremendous song by Free! A personal favorite of mine! This album version tops the edited single version by a mile! Free peaked on Billboard's pop singles chart in October 1970!

Bravo, Paul Rodgers, Andy Fraser (both of whom composed this track), Paul Kossoff (R.I.P.) & Simon Kirke!

  • The Sopranos brought me here.

  • Wanna kill zombies and demons to this song.

  • @rang3r34 You made my day with this comment.

  • @Italianazurra Thanks!!! When the world ends you can join me sendin' demons back to Hell!

  • @rang3r34

good plan, it's goin in my skyrim music mod ;)

  • @ikilludead2timestwic Yeah, that's a great idea!!

  • Heard this from Supernatural :D season 1 episode 6, outro song!

  • real music, whatever happend to real music, its all that x factor CRAP,o fk what is this pathetic world comming to

  • @user6971it You are soooo right. All we can do is try to show the younger generation the difference by getting them to listen to the "real deal" like this one is. That, and support real talent in the rare occurances when it surfaces from time to time...........

  • timeless tune Paul rogers rocks

  • AMERICAN BEAUTY

  • im sure i first heard this song on a chewing gum advert when i guy was on a bus... :P

  • thumbs up if you heard this in texas chainsaw massacre the beginning

  • MY NAME IS EARL

  • oldie but goodie

  • What ever happened to this kind of music. Radios spamming Pop, Dance, Rap.... where's my good ol classic rock.

  • @rockeronfire02 thats why i listen to xm radio lol

  • @rockeronfire02 I like that old time rock and roll.

  • @rockeronfire02 I agree. Not only is radios spamming mainstream products, but also stupid techno songs that dont require any instruments! No skill involved!Just a computer program! I really miss the 70's 80's and 90's.

  • @rockeronfire02 Unfortunately it seems to have gone the way of the dinosaur simply because it wasn't making enough money. But I'll never betray what I grew up with, still love & listen to...

  • @rockeronfire02 get a cd or an ipod and stop bitching

  • @rockeronfire02 oh god. Turn on classic rock radio and be happy. If you dont have it, then use your own playlist or even dont turn on radio

  • @rockeronfire02 the only radio station I get where I live is a classic rock station :)

  • @rockeronfire02 Pandora!!!

  • @rockeronfire02 Keep it in your heart and pass it down to your children and thats all that matters my friend!!!

  • I was born in 57 so I heard this at the beach one summer when I was about 10 0r 11 or 12 I guess. Huge impression.

  • Timeless Rodgers and Daltrey different class.

  • Thanks 4 the memeries i was 17 whin this song came out i heard it 4 the 1st time on KSTN million dollor weakend i loved it.

  • ooooohhh what a unbelievable guitar playing.....!!!!

  • Wait i thought bad company sang this

  • @cjchrkaha different bands, same lead singer

  • i first heard this when i was eleven. it grabbed me. every time i heard it thereafter, it grabbed me. i think this song will continue to grab me until i stop hearing it. excellent blend of voice, bass, drums, piano and solo guitar, with that sustaining vibrato? it's a masterpiece

  • @ultrakool And it now the music is in you. It's a part of you, and it will continue to grab you. For as long as you live, the music will be with you serving as a constant companion and helping you through the rough times. The music will also make more of a solid impact with you during the happy times. If you can, get a hold of the an original vinyl recording of this song and enjoy it! Be sure to share it with the kids!

  • :D_

  • This one somehow reminds me lot of Steve Miller Band - Keep On Rockin Me Baby. Am I Nuts ??? o.O !!!!

  • big mutha truckers 2 :)

  • My fav. Brit guitarist. Merci bien

  • Why metronome is on ? :D

  • Happy Birthday Paul Kossoff (September 14)

  • May I recommend the book 'An Essential Guide To Music In The 1970s' by Johnny Zero. The author is a big fan of this track.

  • are whole class have to do a cover for this *am in year 8 btw* and i have to do guiter and my bezzie playing electric but some others are playing the keyboard so cant wait eek

  • i love this!!! taking a bow!!

  • @daling430 oh yes indeed

  • Yeah, added it to my channel's music list! absolut classic!

  • Fucking incredible. used in any movie that glorifies 70's rock.

  • I don't give a fuck what the name of this song is cause it still sounds the same and that's good enough for me.

  • deffinatley got ta learn this on my guitar :) love it!

  • That drum fill after the guitar solo is AWESOME!

  • Paul Rodger's voice man. So fucking good.

  • Thumbs up if you've ever had to explain to someone that this is FREE, not BAD COMPANY. If I had a dime for every time it's happened to me...

  • @fallspeed that would be 1 dime

  • Classic Rock at its best, right here <3

  • This song is perfect.

  • Ive done a cover of this check it out

  • is there a metronome in the background or woodblock?

  • This is not the original version , this must be a re-mastered version . Any extended version of All Right Now , is not the original version . In the original , Paul Kossoff uses a strat , not a les paul , the strat gave him a harder edge than the paul . The original 45 was the best version . ''Version'' , nice word . What's your ''version'' ?

  • I just heard this song on the radio. I absolutely had to get more of it. :)

  • @MrRobottic Same! Great song!

  • Man lol !!! I remember dancing to this song, I love it !! I'm from the 70's era and this song was one of my favorites !!! Groovy song I love it : )

  • wow.. i was wrong.. for 36 years.. lol

  • just so you know... the song is "It's Alright Now".. not All Right Now... just so you know.. i am not being a jerk or anything, just thought u'd like to know

  • @uralwaysonmymindbaby Actually, no. The song is called "All Right Now". At least according to my memory, the album cover, wikipedia, amazon.com, the mp3 download, the CD releases, google search, and Standard English. "Alright" is a misspelling of "all right".

  • @greyeyed123 He corrected himself. It's a bit easy to miss, as I did the first time, but he posted right above his comment saying 'wow.. i was wrong.. for 36 years.. lol'.

  • @greyeyed123 I suppose you're opposed to 'already' and 'altogether' too? They date to the 14th and 12th centuries, respectively. 'Already' dates to the 19th. All three are accepted fully by the OED, which is commonly regarded as one of the most "standard" dictionaries of English. Furthermore: from what source are you getting your Standard English? What body has been invested with the power to make such arbitration?

  • @Sargeras0000 " I suppose you're opposed to 'already' and 'altogether' too?" No, I accept those, as they are Standard English, BUT "all together" means something different than "altogether", and "already" means something different than "all ready".

"All three are accepted fully by the OED." Sure, as they mean DIFFERENT things. Most grammarians consider "alright" a misspelling of "all right", as I do, as I am extremely well read an have never read "alright" in anything respectable.

  • @greyeyed123 The OED certainly doesn't consider it a mispelling; rather, " a frequent spelling of all right." And who are "most grammarians"?

  • "Misspelling" is spelled this way. "Mispelling" is a common misspelling of "misspelling".

"rather, " a frequent spelling of all right." Frequent where? I'm exceedingly well read. The only places I've seen "alright" is on the internet, and in teenage text-speak--not exactly a bastion of error-free grammar.

    "Most grammarians" are most grammarians.

Just point to ANY highly respectable use of "alright"--in a book, newspaper, scientific journal, or literary journal. I'll wait.

  • @greyeyed123 Frequent in the OED's corpus, obviously. And the COCA is full of examples of alright: it's been used on CNN, CBS, in History Today, Harper's Bazaar, the Hudson Review, the Rolling Stone, and on NPR, just to name a few.

  • @Sargeras0000 I said respectable. lol (CNN has misspellings ALL THE TIME.)

I find it hard to believe you could find a single instance of "alright" that was NOT used in dialogue for fiction in "The Rolling Stone" or on NPR. I await to be demonstrated wrong.

The English language is dying! lol It's like those people who think "everyone" and "every one" is the same thing. IT'S NOT THE SAME THING! lol Oh well, I guess I just have a reader's sensibility.

    I'll wait for the examples.

  • @Sargeras0000 "and on NPR" I just searched NPR's website. Found no "alrights", except for those found in song titles, and other titles referencing other works. Found hundreds of "all rights" though.

Now I'm off to check the others.

  • @greyeyed123 There's an entry in the COCA, number 19 under 'alright', that's from NPR's Talk Nation. While you're at it, check the COHA and the Time archive too. There are scores of entries for alright. It's certainly not as frequent as spelling as 'all right', but to disregard it as a misspelling is ridiculous.

  • @Sargeras0000 "but to disregard it as a misspelling is ridiculous"

No it isn't. I can disregard it as a misspelling for as long as I wish. Languages are not written in stone, you know. If everyone decides to start misspelling a word tomorrow...is the word still misspelled? I say yes, you say no, and who is right? Neither of us, because the only thing that makes a word "spelled correctly" is our AGREEMENT, and if we disagree, we disagree. The word is not "real" in objective reality.

  • @greyeyed123 Au contraire - it's quite real, and that's what makes it measurable linguistically. How people spell things is an objective fact; one can look at what they write and see exactly how they spell words and count them up and measure them. And on agreement, you're missing the point. Language is defined by consensus; if lots of people choose to spell "all right" "alright" then it's valid, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

  • @Sargeras0000 "How people spell things is an objective fact" Right. People spell "u" for "you" all the time. Is "u" a correct spelling?

"Language is defined by consensus; if lots of people choose to spell "all right" "alright" then it's valid,"

That isn't how consensus works. It is the consensus of ALL the users of the language (including listeners and readers).

"and there's nothing anyone can do about it." I can't stop people from misspelling things, no. (This song is GOOD, lol.)

  • @greyeyed123 u too just wasted so much comment space, its effin annoying. next time, just keep ur thoughts to yourselves. or at least avoid the conflict. now let's enjoy the song.

  • @choc3408 All right.

  • @greyeyed123 just enjoy the song

  • @knepperamanda All right.

  • anyone else remember this from the Wrigleys advert?

  • This is real music not the garbage we are listening now.

  • how do u dislike this....24 idiots....ima brotha man, and i can tell u dis da shit....

  • love this song... makes me think of summer... so glad i grew up listening to some amazing classic rock... unlike some of my friends... makes me sad to think people have never heard these amazing songs

  • I'm one of the lucky teenagers who actually likes...infact, who knows this song. All my friends think I'm stupid. But I don't care. Lucky enough to have seen Paul Rodgers with Bad Company, another of my favourite bands. Long live YouTube REAL music.

  • Hey sloth1620....fuck those 20 people...They're NOT alright. I've been getting re-aquainted with Free and Bad Company....I totally dig these two groups. I remember hearing them when I was a kid and they just rocked my world.....

  • great song!!, LONG LIVE CLASSIC ROCK BABY!!!

  • Most stations butcher this song.

  • Two (consider 'em carefully) great guitar solos, the second one quoting the first! And Andy Frazer's bass playing is remarkable, too. Paul Rogers is unforgettable as the lead singer; nothing wrong with the drums either (I just don't know the guy's name.).

  • I would personally love the opportunity to punch all 24 cockfaces that hit the dislike button right in the face.

  • @totaldramailand1 lil' old bro.

  • did the 23 bitches not know they didn't like this song before they clicked? If they did, why did they click? If they didn't that means they've never heard this song!!!!!!!!! How is that possible?????!!!!!

  • @jamie1234591 Someone sent them a link? They thought it was another song. They don't like for personal reasons, e.i. ex's favorite song. They don't like the video. They don't like the colour green. They don't like something the band or a member of the band did.

It doesn't have to be a dislike towards the song, it could be something around it.

  • !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:))))))!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mac Kelly did a great cover of this one!

  • Ba ba ba Ba! Rock my mustard off my Hamburger!

  • 23 people.. wait i have a life!
