I'm an American, although I do have Scotts-Irish roots and I like to watch all the Chewin' the fat and Karen Dunbar stuff along with many other UK comedies because they are so well done and much funnier than most American shows. And if I don't understand every word the first time through, then that's a chance to learn isn't it.

@enochg take it you all the US remakes of UK sit-coms piss you off as well its not just that there bad but take the thick of it for example that show was funny coz of the brillant inventive swearing and heard the american re-make cut the swearing coz its a network show i do think the UK is far better at comedy but american tv i think is really good with more dramatic 40minute shows lost prison break buffy angel supernatural dexter etc
