I married (Autograph), camped with family in my WV hills (County Roads), raised my kids (For Baby), joined environmental and supported environmental groups (I Want to Live) buried my husband ( The Eagle and The Hawk) and created a joint tombstone for he and i tat reads 'touch all the mountain tops'. I, too, heard this for the first time on Michael Ball's show on BBC Radio 2 this morning (check it out about 1'13" in). I would have loved to have met this man. I didn't think any man could love his woman as much as I love mine but it's clear from this and Annie's Song that he did. This song is mindblowing for anyone who loves another.

I was a little surprised that he obviously played the piano as beautifully as he played the guitar and, of course, sang. But then again, this man was made of music and love. This song is one of my definite favourites of his. Written by John himself, from his 1988 (AUS)/1989 (US) album "Higher ground", by the way. But this performance seems to be from his 1995 "Wildlife concert"...?

Like so many of John's songs, they can carry multiple messages depending upon what is happening in your life when you listen. I have danced both of my babies to sleep to this song at 2:00am.
